Since we have a number of newer members joining the forum as longer term raw feeders, we are more than willing to change your status to "Raw Feeder" as long as you are willing to post a weekly menu of what you are feeding. The reason for this is not because we believe YOU don't know what you are doing, but simply to reinforce to others who aren't as experienced just how important balance is in a diet. And this forum is all about giving a ferret as natural and healthy a lifestyle as is possible, including what is fed. It's also for those who may feed raw, but perhaps the diet isn't as balanced as it should be and they may not realize it. So please don't feel insulted if we insist on you posting this menu, nor if we make some suggestions on how it could be improved. Please write your menu out in the format of: Monday: I feed this Tuesday: I feed that Etc for the week. Thank you.

As promised ages ago mine:
Monday - Bone meals x 2 Tuesday - Heart, bone meal Wednesday - Kidney (other organs if I can get them), Bone meal Thursday - Bone meals x 2 Friday - Liver, heart/other muscle meats Saturday - Boney meat Sunday - Whole prey, extra boney meat if needed (for quantity)
My boney meals are a mixture of chicken wings and scrap meat from the butcher with plenty of consumable bone - beef/ox, lamb and pork. The bones are naturally the smaller ones or small pieces so they can eat them well - non weight bearing bones. Any other meats I happen to see, or a rabbit carcass etc if so happens (as opposed to a whole rabbit).
Whole prey is largely day old chicks and also mice of varying ages, hence topped up with consumable bone meals if needed - also had a whole cockerel, rabbits, or whatever else I can get.
Hope that sounds ok!
Gemma
