Yay! Okay, so my menu gets slight protein changes every 2 weeks ish but the percentage stays the same. I usually stock up on meat, scale/prep everything into ziplock bags and freeze. My 1 fuzzy eats 2-3 ounces of meat (age 5 months) and then gets chicken wings over night so all the bone is consumed. I will be adding chicken/turkey necks/chicken feet to the menu for bone as well. Let me know how this looks
Monday am: beef cubes, olive oil, raw egg yolk mix. Monday pm: chicken wings Tuesday am: Chicken liver/Gizzard Tuesday pm: chicken wing Wednesday am: beef kidney. Wednesday pm: chicken wing Thursday am: turkey mince, olive oil, egg yolk Thursday pm: chicken wing Friday am: chicken hearts Friday pm: chicken wing Saturday am: rabbit chunks, olive oil Saturday pm: chicken wing Sunday am: mince mix Sunday pm: quail / bone in / cut up

That looks pretty good! Only thing I think I'd do from time to time is to give a thigh or a drumstick instead of a wing. Not sure cost wise for you, but Cornish hen is also a great bone in bird. Half a hen will do my nine for a meal. You can also pick up the necks from Tail Blazer's. I use the one on 51 st sw, they are great there

I get the big packages of wing and drumsticks. I found a tailblazers 5 minutes from my house, I intend to go there today (dance) Where can I get Cornish hen???

Could this also apply for whole prey feeders like me?

You want to know why I will never feed goose here? One adult goose at our local Co-op runs almost $90.00. Even flipping Koby Beef isn't that expensive

And yes, just list your diet for Gwin Oh yay! I'm so excited! His meal plan is pretty standard here we go. Monday through Friday he eats two hopper mice, one pinky rat and one chick. Saturday he eats a serving of lamb in addition to two hopper mice and a chick. Sunday he eats two hopper mice, an egg, and a chick. This is his first wave of whole prey plan. Next order I'm getting quails and GPs!

I know that this is convenient sizes for one and a wee one but you need to add adult prey to your mix. You're little one is going to be very, very short on calcium. Only adult prey can offer you the much needed nutrients, especially your much needed calcium. ciao

Definitely he needs a LOT more adult whole prey. The majority should be adult with one or two hoppers maybe, and a single meal of chicks no more than once a week, preferably once every two weeks if he's having two meals of juvenile mice a week.

I can do that! Sure thing! When I ordered from Rodentpro I actually thought the hoppers would be adult size -- i was wrong. I wish they had pictures of the sizes to judge better for people ordering the first time...
eta: i ordered him some new bags of adult mice and rats, yay! they should be here soon.

Good! The rats you will likely have to cut in half, but he should be able to finish a half in a day.
