I've tried giving Wolf ground hamburger and bison. He didn't want to eat it. If I give him just chicken pieces, I won't put it in the soup. But I make them about the size of a small lego(about a cm). I've tried ground beef and bison. I just give him his soup once a day, just a little bit thicker, so he will get the heart he needs. Princess' menu consists of everything that you told me to give her. She will not eat any bone though, even if I put it in really tiny pieces. She does get a tiny bit of bone when she gets the leftover soupies.

If so you need to make sure he has food at all time like soup available when he wants to eat it. So when you feed the chunks you don't give him soup he gets chunks? As for princess could you post her menu up please? If she is refusing to eat bone in meals I would recommend feeding a commercial grind darwins is a good commercial grind and hare today has some balanced grinds she could eat. She needs calcium or she will have bone abnormalities and deficiencies.

Yes, I would like to switch Wolf completely. Correct, when I give him chunks, it's just chunks. Princess: Monday AM: chicken thigh Monday PM: heart Tuesday AM: ground beef Tuesday PM: Frog Legs Wednesday AM: chicken wings(cut off bone) Wednesday PM: kidney Thursday AM: beef steak Thursday PM: fish Friday AM: heart Friday PM: chicken breasts Saturday AM: ground beef Saturday PM: chicken thigh Sunday AM: heart Sunday PM: Frog Legs She gets the leftover soup from Wolf if he does not finish it. Where would I get the commercial grind? Pet store?

That menu is not balanced at all. I would definitely recommend doing the Commercial grinds. Hare today Gone tomorrow is a great place for some balanced grinds. www.darwinspet.com/product/raw-cat-food/ darwins is a good commercial grind as well. But like I said she isn't getting a balanced diet and we really need her to eat calcium and if she's refusing bone the grinds are good.

@ferretlove1987 you need to update your Mentor. As per the Mentoring Program Rules: You really need to post more frequent updates please. As your mentor Morgan am here to help, and wants to help you and your fuzz, but unfortunately she can't be of any assistance if she doesn't have any information or updates to go off of.
Right now your menus are extremely unbalanced and frankly, is NOT safe. An imbalanced raw diet is very dangerous - more dangerous than kibble - and will lead to very serious nutrition deficiencies. Organs should be 10% of the total diet (one and a half full meals a week) or which AT LEAST half needs to be liver. Without adequate organ content in the diet, your babies will become very sick due to nutritional deficiencies. Additionally, they ABSOLUTELY MUST have bones. Calcium deficiencies are very, very serious, eventually leading to seizures and death. This is even more important in young, growing animals like your kitten who need bone AND other vital minerals found in bones such as phosphorus (which is NOT found in sufficient quantities in eggshell - which is why eggshells are not recommended for long-term calcium supplementation), in order to grow and form healthy bones. Without sufficient bone intake they will develop metabolic bone disease - also known as Rickets (commonly called "Swimmers" in young animals) which is extremely debilitating. In addition to the vital importance of the nutrients in bone, the bones are super important for cleaning teeth. I am not saying this to be harsh or make you feel bad, but to impress upon you the extreme importance of proper balance.
I understand that you are still fairly early in the switch but you MUST update your mentor AND follow her instructions. If you continue to disregard her requests for more frequent posts and do not follow her guidance, then Morgan will continue to be completely stuck and unable to help you - and as such I will sadly be forced to shut this thread down.
Your mentor is here to help you with balancing the diet, but she cannot do that if you do not answer her questions thoroughly, and if you do not follow her feeding instructions. If you are unable to provide a properly balanced Frankenprey diet, then you NEED to access commercial foods. Proper balance in a raw diet is absolutely critical.
