Wolf is having yellow tinted poops now. They smell normal, just a little yellow mixed with the brown. Is that just because he's been eating the raw? Sophie ate 1/4 oz and Wolf ate 1/2 ounce for dinner.

Sophie ate 1/4 oz and Wolf ate 1/2 ounce for dinner. Wow!!! Great job!! They are eating much more than before! This is a huge step. So the goal I would like you to try is to try and hand feed them 3 times a day if you aren't already doing that. This way they are more prompted to eat more Also muscle meat is anything with out bone. So say for example steak is a muscle meat. Chicken thigh with no bone is considered a muscle meat

Here is a basic run down when we talk about muscle meat, bone in and organ meals Meat- muscle meats, or chunks. Turkey, chicken, beef, pork, lamb, goat. Any meat containing no bone. Includes heart and gizzard. Bone in- meat with consumable bones. Some ferrets can handle larger bones, some will need small bones from the size of a chicken or smaller. Exceptions are neck and tail bones. Some ferrets CAN eat the weight bearing bones from things like rabbit and chicken, but most won't bother with them. It will sometimes work better if you smash the thigh/leg bones from chickens. Good examples are: chicken necks/wings/spines, turkey wing tips/ribs/necks, duck wing tips/ribs/necks, pork rib ends/riblets, some will eat pork neck, most adult whole prey(rabbit/mice/rats/quail/gerbil/hamster/guinea pig). Organ- liver, spleen, brain, lung, thymus, pancreas, kidney, etc. Any part of the body that secretes.

OK.... So I figured out why the ferrets refuse the food sometimes. If I make it with boned meat, they don't like it. If I make it with chicken and egg shell they eat it. At least I hope this is why they do that.

Weekly weigh-in since you already know what they eat: Sophie: 1 lb 12.8 oz Wolf: 2 lbs 3.5 oz

If I use a bone instead of the eggshell for the soupie, they will not touch it. I had to remake their food, the leftovers will be for Princess tomorrow. Wolf ate 1/2 ounce for dinner. Sophie didn't eat any, but I did not take away their food today, so that is probably why. I didn't have time this morning to hand feed them before festivities. Will feed them again in the morning.
Princess had a nice frog leg for dinner. I cut it up with the bones in it, and she ate all but the bones, and put the bone pieces next to her bowl...lol

Did you cut them small enough that she has to eat the bone?

For the ferrets, yes the bone is ground up. For Princess, they were 1/4"pieces with the meat still on it.
