That looks fine to me since you are feeding alot of bone-in grinds they are certainly getting their bones. since you are mixing commercial raw grinds with frankenprey, add in the 2 oz of liver each week per ferret.

Remember to brush teeth about 3-4 x a week for those that are not chewing actual bone in meats. just brush every other day. I use a small denta pet cat toothbrush and Oxyfresh pet gel

Great. Thanks so much for everything. Since I am switched over and have my menu set, I guess you can move on to a new mentee now..... Good luck in your future mentoring.

here is your test for graduation:
1) List 2 good sources of taurine.
2) How can you tell if your ferret is getting too much or too little bone?
3) List 3 sources of edible bone.
4) In an emergency (if you run out of bone or if your ferret won't eat bone for some reason), what are 2 acceptable bone substitutes and how much should your ferrets get? (be specific)
5) Are cooked bones safe to feed?
6) Why are cooked bones dangerous and raw bones safe?
7) Do chicken, turkey, and cornish game hen (CGH) count as different proteins?
8) List 3 organs aside from liver.
9) Give 2 examples each of muscle meat, edible bones, and organs.
10) Are gizzards a muscle meat, or an organ?
11) How many different proteins does a ferret need in a week at a Minimum?
12) How much food on average should a male and female ferret each consume per DAY?
13) What is a healthy diet item that can be used for hairballs, and his often should you give it?

here is your test for graduation: 1) List 2 good sources of taurine. Hearts and tongue. (If you can't find those, you can substitute with taurine, 250 mg. from a decent brand with no fillers)2) How can you tell if your ferret is getting too much or too little bone? If the poops are too loose, they need more bone. If they are harder, or constipated, they need less bone.
3) List 3 sources of edible bone. Chicken wings, cornish game hen, chicken necks, pork rib ends.4) In an emergency (if you run out of bone or if your ferret won't eat bone for some reason), what are 2 acceptable bone substitutes and how much should your ferrets get? (be specific) Either crushed raw, dried out eggshells. Or human grade bone meal powder. 1/2 teaspoon for 8 oz. muscle meat.5) Are cooked bones safe to feed? h*ll no!6) Why are cooked bones dangerous and raw bones safe? Raw bones don't splinter and cooked bones have sharp edges that can perforate the intestines or stomach.7) Do chicken, turkey, and cornish game hen (CGH) count as different proteins? Not really. Cornish game hen is too close to chicken. Try adding lamb or rabbit. 8) List 3 organs aside from liver. Kidney, lung, pancreas.9) Give 2 examples each of muscle meat, edible bones, and organs. Muscle meat - heart, gizzardsEdible bones - chicken wings, turkey necks Organs - Lung, liver10) Are gizzards a muscle meat, or an organ? I think they are muscle meat.....11) How many different proteins does a ferret need in a week at a Minimum? At least 3.12) How much food on average should a male and female ferret each consume per DAY? Males should eat 3 - 4 ozs or more. Females should eat 1 - 3 ozs. or more. Kits will eat more than that, and they do. They just eat and eat.13) What is a healthy diet item that can be used for hairballs, and his often should you give it? Raw egg yolk. I use mostly quail eggs, not too much egg white. Less waste. A few a week.

I have posted your menu in the mod section and you should add like 2 oz of liver per ferret each week. Just grind up and add to their grinds a few times a week.
