HA! I actually did do another menu and adjusted meals again last night, but Minnie's already messed it up, lol. She is slowing down a little though. Now if her poops will just keep getting better, I'll be a happy mama. Thanks for all your help the last few very HECTIC days. You'll never know how much I appreciate you being there through all of this! :thankyou:

Minnie has been home and on raw for one week now. She gave me one perfect, solid, chicken colored poop this morning, and she weighs 17 oz, up 4 from last Sunday morning.

OOH OOH OOH!! I got the organs!! You were gone and I didn't think about posting it here. He sent me 7-10 pounds of pork and beef liver and kidney! He didn't label everything, so I'm not sure what percentage is beef vs pork, but he finally came through!

I'm having trouble with the menu for this week. I was trying to plan how MUCH of each thing to bag for each day, same as I did last week. Problem is, Minnie sometimes eats 2 days worth in one day Her amounts vary a lot, sometimes a lot and sometimes A LOT more, lol. So what I did for this week is bag up enough organs for both, enough heart/tongue, a bag of muscle meat, and a HUGE bag of assorted bone-in. They had organs this morning. I'll give them organs and hearts tomorrow morning, and just hearts/tongue on Wednesday morning. Then rotate the rest of the week with muscle & bone-in adjusting as I need to for loose poops. I'm not really sure how to do the menu/meals like I've been doing, because I'm trying to make sure neither of them goes hungry, which means I'm constantly pulling something out of the freezer for them.

So anyway, here is my plan for this week:
Mon am: liver, left frozen wings for 'snack' Mon pm: something from the bone-in baggie (it has chicken wings, chicken necks, turkey necks, chicken backs, pork riblets)
Tues am: kidney (new meat), hearts Tues pm: bone-in
Wed am: heart/beef tongue Wed pm: bone-in
Thurs am: something from the muscle meat baggie (beef stew meat, pork something, gizzards) Thurs pm: bone-in
Fri am: bone-in Fri pm: bone-in
Sat am: eggs, bone-in Sat pm: muscle
Sun am: bone-in Sun pm: bone-in

On those mornings when they have organs or heart, I'll have to also leave them something w/ bone for Minnie to chew on.

Is Minnie still eating like a starved ferret?

Well, she's eating a LOT, but not obsessively like she was. She'll leave food in the dish for a couple of hours now and go play or take a nap, then go back to it later. I think she's finally convinced that the food will keep on magically appearing in her dish, so she doesn't have to be quite so aggressive about it. And she'll let Slinkee eat without her, whereas the first week if HE was eating, SHE was eating too. Her weight is still right at 17 oz but she's filling out now. There's a tiny layer of fat over her ribs and hip bones now, and she keeps a little pudgy belly all the time. She's still having some 'off' poos, but sooooo much better than last week. Slinkee had gotten in the habit in the mornings, of playing until I left for work, then eating when he was locked in prison. He's learning to check the dish before playing to see if there's anything there he wants to fight over, or if he'll be happy with her leftovers, lol. He learning to live with a friend, and checks on her frequently both in the cage and out. She's only allowed in one room still, until she's more consistent with the litter box, but he can get in and out over the baby gate. He'll go out and run around the house for a little while, then run back to check on her. I think he likes her.

Awww. So cute. Slinkee sounds like a good boy. I am glad that Minnie is leveling off. I am sure the problem is partly that she was hungry at the store. Did not help that she was allergic to those pine chips. Vulva and butt look better then?

Yep, vulva and butt look normal. Her poops, well Slinkee's too, are still erratic.. sometimes good, sometimes bad, sometimes in the box, sometimes not...
I got the pet store to remove the pine chips. Hopefully making some other changes there too.

that looks good. so how many ounces estimate are the liver and kidney per week?
i would add some eggshell to one of the muscle meat meals bc there are only 8 bone in meat meals in there. although, you are giving wings for snacks so that should make up for it. how often do you give wings as snacks? if more than twice a week, then i would not worry about adding any eggshell to one of the muscle meat meals .
