The Boggle is once again in a state of grief. Our dear sweet Doc has gone to play with his best friends, Jeremy and Coontail, at the Bridge. Doc was so many things to the Boggle. He was friend, protector, comforter and sometimes rule enforcer. Doc would snuggle with humans for hours if you offered the right blanket. He hated being outside. Adrenal and insulinoma took their toll on his body but his spirit shined bright and strong from his eyes till the end.

So many have left us this year. It has been hard. Kirby and Pepperchini faded away like many insulinomic ferrets do. It is heartbreaking to watch, one day they are doing ok and the next they slip into a coma as their organs shut down. My beautiful Siggy, my soul, was lost to JL. Sweet little Jinn to bloat. 10 of our ferrets are on the Giving Tree. Many more need Santas. Please consider choosing a ferret from the tree and make one little souls holiday brighter. They really do enjoy receiving their gifts.
