I realized today that I've become far to attached to Leon & Cloud as well as the thought that they would go to gfountain Someone inquired about them today & my first though was "No they are Gina's". sigh. I highly doubt the person will make it through the application process but still bummed me out anyway. Jeremy's Boggle, I just now saw this today while I'm trying to get in touch with you!!! They ARE Gina's!! and if they've gone to someone else, I'm going to cry!

Sorry I've been having computer issues so I haven't been on. We went to DC with my sister and had a wonderful time. Since getting home I've been running non-stop. An albino male about 6 months old was surrendered to a local humane society on Tuesday. We are calling him Jinn. Clio has been feeling poorly so she & Jinn saw the vet on Thursday. Jinn is a very healthy little boy. Clio is on antibiotics for a bacterial overload from the stress of the family being away. She is improving. Saturday I had a wonderful visit with my nephews. Sunday Cocoa had a seizure shortly after her morning meds. She has been fine since. Today I visited Sandi Robinson & brought up two boys about a year old to be adopted out. I'll be taking new pictures of everyone this week if things slow down a bit. Of course I'll be meeting Gina on Thursday to deliver the boys.

Arthus has lost nine ounces in less than a month. I took him into the vet. Arthus' liver & kidneys are failing. We are adjusting his diet, adding supplements & subqing. The vet feels like we should get 4 good months with him if he responds well to the treatment. He will go for a recheck in a month.

Sending good vibes that Arthus responds well to treatment and still has time with you all Thank you. I'm trying to keep positive energy around him but he has had so much happen to him at such a young age it breaks my heart. If Arthus can keep his chin up & handle this situation with a positive outlook I should be able to as well.

Arthus is doing well. He has started gaining weight :boing: On 12/14 I was contacted about a ferret in Statesboro Ga who was being feed dog food, housed in a garage and never let out of a filthy cage. I picked him up on the 15th and named him after his transporter Kirby. Kirby is about 1 1/2-2 yrs old. He has early insulinoma and IBD from being feed dog food & possibly untreated gut issues. Kirby is taking .2 of pred. Very glad I've been through IBD mentoring. He is very sweet and the Boggle loves him. Due to all of his health issues he will be staying with us. When he came in he had a body condition of 3 and had limited use of his back legs. Then on the 23rd the same group contacted me about another sick ferret about an hour from me. The ferret had hair and weight loss. Their other ferret had died 2 months earlier with the same symptoms. So a volunteer picked him up. Turns out he was suffering from malnutrition. Mr Socks also has a yeast infection on his, a systemic infection and his electrolytes are high. Mr. Socks body condition also rated a 3. So far he doesn't seem to have any major damage to his systems. The Boggle loved their Christmas presents

I haven't updated here in forever. Arthus is still going strong. All of his number came back improved at his last check up, he has put on tons of weight and his lungs are clear. Clio had to have two teeth removed and a mass from her side. She is recovering well. The mass has been sent for testing. Sadly Cocoa left us on April 30th. Her little body could no longer fight the adrenal & insulinoma. Cocoa's body just shut down. Everyone else is doing well.

Clio's mass came back as cancerous but completely contained :boing: An adorable deaf waardy 6 month old was surrendered and brought ECE into the rescue. Rico one of the adoptables became very ill & Jinn was mildly effected in comparison. Both have recovered well. The Boggle is temporarily separated into groups of 4-5 to make monitoring them easier. So far things are not too bad. The constant sterilizing is exhausting. We will begin our first round of testing to find out who has it & who doesn't in the following weeks. Here are some cute pictures:
