Willpower won, and although this is not the place to announce it, why why why did the kits have to be awake today when I went to get Paulie's litter at Petco.
First, all three ferrets were adorable. The two sprites were a marked DEW and a cute (and busy) dark silver with a black nose. But I knew better than to get into their kind of trouble, because they were half the size of the chocolate gib but could pin him (especially black nose) by the scruff. That little girl had a lady with her eye on her. She just lost of fuzz recently and was feeling the pain of missing patters. She wants to adopt two--just can't justify both + vaccinations at once (know that feeling). I see that little girl being gone, possibly with her sister (she also likes DEWs) later this week.
Oh but that silly chocolate mitt. He plays like Paulie. Digging under the food bowl, laying belly up, hopping like a little maniac, and very into his food (he took war dance breaks to eat). No mitts, no bib, big feet. Just cute somewhere between a champagne and chocolateness. I almost took him home, but willpower prevailed. As a grad student, its really not the best to let ferret math take right now--my parents let me bring Paulie when I come home, but I doubt they'd approve of that second (at least right now).
But he has that soul-ferret pull like Paulie. I think the two would have a blast. Argh! (BTW not the best place to come here right now with all the ferret math striking, I know). What a cute boy he is, even with a Paulie teddy bear/fox face.
I just had to whine. I've given him my wish for a good home, as I do all the great ferret characters I meet at the petstore. I had so planned to adopt from a shelter my next ferret. Oh little chocolate fuzz, know that were I a second year grad student I would have seriously brought you home. Alas, I am one full year from a job . Still whining, I bet I dream about him tonight. This was rather how I came home with Paulie in the first place.
