Oh no I don't plan to exceed that! Mixing in organs might help them take it better though I think I'll give it a try!

Okay, the menu's going to go off to Heather, then. Just remember, (with the liver/kidney meals) you can serve it with a bit of muscle meat (not heart, since you already have 3 meals of that, ), or bone (even ground up, cut up).

Hi, there. I talked with Heather, and could you reformat the menu so that it is
"Monday am meal pm meal
Tuesday am meal pm meal ..."
and so on? It makes it easier for anyone scanning the archives to adopt the menu, if they want/need to. Thanks!

monday AM: Beef liver* PM: chicken necks
Tuesday AM: Pork hearts PM: chicken carcass
Wednesday AM: Chicken feet PM: ox tail
Thursday AM: Pork tail PM: pork liver*
Friday AM: Beef heart PM: chicken necks
Saturday AM: Chicken carcass PM: chicken necks
Sunday AM: Beef mince PM: pork heart
* - organ meal split into two separate meals, not doubling amounts of organ. (ferrets still resistant to larger organ meals)

about the asterisks - we wanted to make note of the organ meal(s) so that people looking to incorporate an already made menu were aware that the amounts haven't changed, just the number of meals

oops, apparently my other post didn't go through (having trouble with my internet lately). I have a question about the ox tails - your ferrets ARE eating them, correct? (like the guidelines we discussed earlier? Eating most of the bone versus stripping and stashing the majority of it?)

Yep! They're eating most of it now including the bones - I do smash them up a bit tho for easier eating but I don't need to do that as much anymore

Sorry for the long disappearance. Pixie (my oldest girl) has been sick - she's overnighting at the vet's as we speak (and I haven't yet gone to bed and it's 4 pm). That's great to hear, though, and I'll be sure to let Heather know!

Thank you so much. It's always hard when they leave us, isn't it? Now it's the ones left behind that I worry about, but we'll get through this.
How is everything with your guys? In general and diet-wise?
(we'll get you graduated yet! Heather wants to look over the menu a final time, but she's experiencing internet issues right now)
