So I have been feeding Chicken thighs and legs, with some bones, rabbit arms and legs with the bones, rabbit body with bones, then the livers from chicken, and beef, And now I have a huge piece of beef in my fridge for them for the upcoming week

Awesome, so you've got 3 proteins so far. It'd be great if you could add a bit more. Maybe some turkey necks, Cornish game hen, pork, lamb. Let me know if any others start eating the mice

Hey Again!!! Sorry I haven't replied sooner! I have been dealing with some family matters. So the furries are doing great. Yesterday I went and bought a bunch of different kinds of meats for them and myself. We now have a freezer full of Pork, Chicken, Beef, and rabbit meat. I am also getting some frozen mice today to see if any of them like those. I also have some live mice. I havent tried feeding any more mice to the others yet, because i am breeding the 2 that I have right now so that we have more without having to go buy them. I couldnt find any pumpkin in a can at the grocery store, only the pumpkin pie mix, which i didnt get. Instead I got some baby food squash. i haven't fed that to them yet but am planning on giving it to them in a bit when i feed them. Should I just put some of the squash on the meat so they have to lick it off? of should i try putting it in a dish for them to eat separately?
Thanks Jackie!!!

ok so I just gave them a chicken wing about an hour and a half ago. I rubbed some baby squash all over it and added a little bit of ferretvite paste to it to ensure they would eat it. So now I am looking into the cage and they seem to have licked all of the squash off of the chicken LOL.

That's a good set of variety. I would also look for small birds like Cornish game hen, quail, squab, etc, to have more options for edible bone.
You can do either with the squash. I put my fiber directly on the meat - I find it's more convenient. However, some fuzz will lick off everyone elses share so you may have to feed it separately

oh yeah, I have some cornish hens as well. lmfao. I completely forgot about those. oh and I have some Beef necks. and mice. I think i will get a male mouse tomorrow and one or 2 feeders for them so i can start making babies. I also just got a cornsnake for my sister today who came with a bunch of frozen mice. I was kind of thinking of giving them one to see if they eat it.

for the most part everyones stools are pretty solid and small. and stink waaaaayyy less than before. When ever i feed them livers they get pretty dark and oozey, but i figure thats just from the consistency of the liver. Thanks so much for all the help and advice!
Oh and this isnt related to food or anything, but one of my little guys got a bad ear mite infestation so I went and got Excel Ear Mite remedy for animals. it says its good for cats, dogs, bunnies, ferrets, kittens, and puppies. I have been cleaning all their ears and treating them all because they all seem to have at least a little, except fox, his ears were full of black nasty mites. they all seem to be getting better. I was just wondering if anyone else has used this Excel stuff. or...if you have any suggestions on keeping ear mites away? Do you know if they come from plants or do they have to come directly from another infected animal? I figure one of my 3 boys must have had them when i adopted them and fox just got it real bad, because my cat and my dog dont have them, although i did treat them just in case. Alrighty!!!! Thanks again!!!!!! <3 <3 <3

For organ days, try adding some extra fiber (squash) and see if it helps a bit. Also, it helps to fee bone before and/or after an organ meal.
As for the mites, I've never heard of the stuff. I know you can treat mites with ivermectin or revolution. I would call the vet and see what they suggest.
Also with mites, every animal needs to be treated because it travels so easily.
Revolution can be safely used as a preventative for fleas, heartworm and mites. I use it when necessary only, not as a preventative. I will use it preventively if they are spending a lot of time outdoors or around other pets.

ok well I got this stuff from petco (god do i hate petco), it was the only pet store in the area i was in an d i had to grab a flea comb for chip asap so I grabbed this ear mite stuff. Sherry just informed me about pyrethrins. which is an insecticide, but i also see that it is in all flea and tick remedies and preventatives. Oh and I will definitely be putting more squash into their diet and I am thinking next time i give them organs i will also give them a chicken wing or two. So yeah!!! everyone is doing great! sleeping at the moment.
