I am guessing this section is same as general in the other forum?
I was wondering, how much should ferrets eat/day?
Also, is anyone elses fuzzies already doing a seasonal shed? I have noticed Clovis is really really shedding and has cut back on the amount of food he is eating. He is also really really lightening up as far as color goes.
MegaWeasel however, the backward season, is starting to eat like a pig!

A handful of my crew are shedding like crazy but everyone is still eating like it's going out of style! Right now I think Crumb, Slink, Slither and Tai are the worst...

Oh, good...you got to it, Sherry. I went to open a new window to pull that file in and the computer crashed and then....I got sidetracked Sorry All my guys are presently on a food wind down and seasonal shed. They've all lost between and once and two ounces. I think I will throw them all outside...they obviously haven't a clue ciao

Right now, we are yoyoing between 20 below and 5-6 above zero(celcius). Monday, we had such a dump of snow, I quite literally couldn't get out of my parking lot, the car got stuck 3 times before I gave up and managed to get it back into the stall. Today- it's light jacket day

O.O I could not imagine temps like that. I'd be bundled up in so many layers, I wouldn't be able to move.

Spring will be here several times over the next 5 months(swapping off with winter ), before summer finally hits.

It's supposed to be warmer tomorrow....we might make freezing. It was minus 15 today but....the wind chill was minus 22. I've been threatening the guys and telling them I'm going to put them out in the run....if I could actually find it The tunnels are presently buried in a snow drift that actually covers the top of the kennel and I know that the main door wouldn't open at all (so the little bums are actually safe unless I put the leashes on...but then it means I have to go out there...not happening ) ciao.

That I can understand! If I didn't have to in that weather, I'd be staying nice and snug indoors

Our Bear-Bear(former DMK) has now lightened fur & i appears to be much shorter in the last 10 days. PLEASE be a sign of Spring around the corner!
