We can only hope Rose! And I never knew you had one of the DMK kids! We were the last leg of a transport of 13 DMK's from NY back to Ma. 10 hours of driving and 2 shelters met us in our home when we got back. We kept 3 of the original 13 and SSFC took 9 & Ferret Resq of Maine took 1 We lost 2 of the originals in the last year & 1/2 but still have Dylan. Then a second batch from an overwhelmed shelter were dispersed and we took 2 so we have Bear-Bear, Mocha(one eye) and Dylan.. I will take pics- I need to update..

Poor little ones I'm so glad you were able to help out with that rescue. It was pretty terrible from everything I've read on it.

Poor little ones I'm so glad you were able to help out with that rescue. It was pretty terrible from everything I've read on it. Boy - the stories i could tell about their experiences especially never being out of their 8" x 18" wire outdoor cages in middle of snowstorms & summer heat, all before they were rescued. Many died before the rescue It was a horrow show -I was not present but knew pretty much was happening in OH.. The ferts had never been handled either- nasty fear bites and they didnt know what a solid floor was!!!ohh don't get me started.
