So half a patty twice a day? I'm thinking of trying this.

MY boys won't touch it rehydrated. Mine won't eat it if I just add water to the patty. It has to be blended up smoothly So half a patty twice a day? I'm thinking of trying this. Sounds about right Mine LOVE the stuff and will gorge themselves on it. Silly kids

Sonny prefers it dry & broken up into little chunks. he drops them into his water bowl a lot though. he fishes them out and eats them. His water is gross and I have to change it a lot. The wysong arch 1 is easier to make soup with bc at the bottom of the bag its all shredded chicken.

Wysong dream treats are good too. He goes crazy over them!

This vs. Wysong, which do you tend to go through faster? Commercial raw and S&C seem to average about $50 a month for my two ferrets but....whew, Wysong is expensive.
And what about AFS and Ziwipeak?

Those are not freeze dried. That is the frozen S & C which has big chunks of pumpkin seeds in them. I believe if was Jennifer/mustelidmusk that told me not to buy the frozen food bc of the seeds-she said they can cause blockages. I only buy the freeze dried raw from S & C. The freeze dried patties are all the same size. Caseys sells the freeze dried for less.

I order from only natural pet & they kill you with shipping too. Actually, everyone kills you on shipping. I like caseys bc they get to know you and they ship immediately. They also have other things like wysong, ziwipeak, afs, n-bones, natural hairball remedy, etc. So I can order the dog & ferrets food in one place. My dog eats wysong, s & c, afs, and ziwi. The ferret only likes wysong and s & c. So, it is convenient to combine shipping for everything. I supplement both their diets with store bought meat.

And with Nature's Variety, it's just the opposite. Their freeze dried raw has whole pumpkin seeds in it. But the raw medallions are fine.

I feed my four fuzzies primarily a freeze dried diet purchased from caseys hidden pantry. When they don't have that I feed frankenprey. I felt that I was not providing enough varriety with a frankenprey diet alone. I highly recccomend the Animal Food Services Beef or Chicken Niblets the value is really good only $19.10 for 21 ounces. Then I like to buy them 2 small bags of Stella and Chewys one duck duck goose and one dandy lamb. I got the surf and turf for them once because i figured the salmon oils would be really good for their coat and it was but i had to do a little coaxing to get them to eat it by mixing with other flavors. At first they did not want to eat it rehydrated at all but now they do if i break it up good enough. I feed it dry most of the time though and just provide them with a water dish and bottle. They hydrate the food themselves while eating. Between the four i say i feed about half a food dish of AFS niblets or 4-5 Stella and chewys patties a day. I too cant wait for the feline stella and chewys to come out.

Sonny dunks his freeze dried in his water bowl! or he drops them in the water bowl and then fishes them out. he is so STRANGE. his water is disgusting and i have to change it like 3 or 4 times a day.

I'm so glad mine don't do that lol they just swim in it which is why i have the water bottle in case they empty it. I did however today decide to randomly crumble a patty into the water dish for them to eat while i was cleaning their feeding tray. They approved of that.
