I'm sorry, I thought you meant in mg/dl. I'm pretty sure 1.08 is quite low. But I'm not sure how to convert. We'll see what Sherry says.

According to an online converter, 1.8 is about 30 mg/dl. That is very low.

Yes that is a very low number. I'm glad you caught that, sorry for the misunderstanding. Call your Vet and ask what amount you can increase it to. Right now with the timeline your Vet has given for your fuzzers life don't be concerned about a high dose, you need to get him stable and make his last months worth it and happy. Steph mentioned Diazoxide, this is an amazing drug and really truly is wonderful at treating Insulinoma, it gave my girl 6 more months to live. But it is expensive.
A normal range will be 85-120 mg/dl. 1.08 is around 30 mg/dl. Low is anything under 80 mg/dl.

I'm terribly sorry about your father. I've been staying with my grandmother every day in the hospital this week, I know it's hard. My prayers are with you <3 A question you can get back to whenever you have some free time, do you mean from 0.5 mg to 1.0 mg? Just be sure he eats at least 30 min before giving him his medicine (to prevent ulcers) and I'm so glad to hear they love the soup. Is it the balanced recipe? - 8 oz chicken thigh 1 oz chicken liver 1 oz chicken heart 1/2 tsp eggshell/bonemeal powder You and your father are in my thoughts

I am so sorry for your father, too. Yes it does help ones spirit to hold a pet when feeling sad. It is amazing how much our pets help us.
