You did very well on your exam (dance)
Let me just clarify one or two questions.
3. Ferrets have a short digestive track. How long does it take them to digest a normal meal?
The ferret digestive track is 3-4 hours.
6. What is the blockage protocol?
Close, but it is One Tablespoon of pure pumpkin, followed one hour later by one Teaspoon of Vaseline.
Do this until until you a nice big orange poop. That should happen around four hours later.
If at anytime, your ferret vomits or "crashes" an emergency vet visit is required.
7. You want 10% organs in your week. You want 1/2 heart and 1/2 liver for one day and 1/2 liver and 1/2 other organ (kidney, brain, reproductive organs ect) another day. So 2 organ meals, with a meal of all hearts on another day.
Again, let me clarify that:
You do want ten percent of your Liver plus other organ for their weekly menu.
You also want ten percent of Heart in their weekly menu. One full meal of Heart and then a Half meal.
Your Organ meals should be:
One meal of Liver plus another Organ
One meal of Liver plus another Organ plus a Half meal of Heart.
Your Extra Credit answer was perfect and you made Paul and I laugh.
Your menu has a very nice variety. You will want to adjust your menu to tweak the Organ meals.
So on Thursday, where you have Lamb Heart and Liver, you need another Organ.
I know you have had trouble finding another organ. You can write the organ that you expect to use.
I have to forward your menu for approval from Heather and then she will announce your Graduation.
Please post a menu using this format (it makes it easier for her to read and she has alot to review)
Sunday
a.m.
P.m.
Monday
a.m.
p.m.
Tuesday
a.m.
p.m.
You get the idea.
She will look for a variety of proteins and
7-9 Bone In meals, so write it out like this. Bone In: Chicken Wings
3-4 Muscle Meat meals, again please write out Muscle Meat: gizzards
1 meal of Liver plus another Organ
1 meal of LIver plus another Organ plus a half meal of Hearts.
Write that out like Organ Meal: chicken liver plus pork kidney
Organ Meal: Pork Liver plus Pork Kidney plus a half meal of Pork Heart.
It won't take her too long to approve the menu and post your Graduation.
I'll save my Post Graduation congratulations for her Approval Post.
It's been so much fun working with you, Loki and Liam. Remember that I will always stay in touch and happily answer any questions or concerns that you have.
