Yes dorms are gross and super overpriced. I'm paying as much in my apt as in my dorm AND I dont have to share a room with someone and its a 12 month lease instead of an 8 month lease since dorms kick you out for christmas and summer.
I found a couple, but theyre a little more north and I have no car soooo I have to wait until I can acquire a ride.

I didnt realize how small she was O.O she's losing all her fluffy hair and while her sleek summer coat is nice it definitely shows how small she is.

Good things come in small packages. (giggle)
Moving will be a new experience for Evanna. She will have all kinds of new people to meet, when your friends see her. Plus she will have a whole new place to explore.
How are the markets around your school? Will you still be able to find hearts and other good things?

I should be able to get most of what I need, but if I can't then its only a 30 min drive into Austin HEB's are like walmarts here except they have really good meats and produce. Did I tell you that I found hog heads for sale it the store the other day? O.o My aunt said theyre used for tamales.

A whole hog's head? That must have looked strange. Interesting about the tamales, do they use the brains and cheeks or what?

We roasted a pig once, Luau style and my cousin (who will eat anything) sat and picked apart the head. He was in Hog Heaven (giggle), but I didn't try any.

Just checking in. How is Evanna? Do you have any fun plans for the holiday weekend?

I think we're going to six flags today Evanna is good. We're at mclains for the weekend and she excited to b in a new place. I think she also likes to torture the cats. She find their sleeping spots while they aren't there and she rubs all over it.

Sounds like fun. I saw on the news today, that they opened a new Rollercoaster and I know how you love a good ride. I only caught the tail end of the news, it might have been SF over Georgia, but I got the impression, it was Texas.
From what I've seen from our ferrents with cats and ferrets, the ferrets are especially good at terrorizing cats. I love knowing that Evanna is brave and self confident enough to tease some cats. Good for her!

We didnt end up getting to go it started storming like crazy. We hung out at home instead. Yeah evannas pretty fearless. When my moms labrador got a little too invasive with his sniffing she gave him a good nip on the nose and he left her alone after that. Today we had somebfriends over and they brought their weiner dog. I have never seen Evanna so interested in another animal. She just followed him around everywhere. I love that shes so good with other animals.

The Park was probably insane on the Fourth, you can go another day. Since Evanna is so interested in all the other animals, she's going to Love have her own friend, to play with.
Its the fifth of July today, and on the 10th (just a few days away), I will be testing you and you will build a menu for approval. Do you feel ready? Don't hesitate to ask for more time, if you aren't comfortable with graduating. When you graduate, I will still be here for you and I will want to know all about you and Evanna, and how everything is going.
I leave for vacation on the 20th and it sounds like our computers will have limited capabilities, but I still plan on checking in. I just won't be able to check in, as much as I would like.

I feel ready just a little nervous haha. I'll be sure to give you updates and of course I post a ton on fb thank you for being awesome and helping me through this. Your next student will be very lucky to have you Hey so you know how everyone says Evanna's a little angel? Well she gave me my first real scare today. I let her free roam and well it was time for breakfast and she was nowhere to be found. We looked EVERYWHERE! Every bedroom, blanket, nook, and cranny! She was inside of a suitcase that we had all checked O.o I even remember looking in there and not seeing her. We found her though and she's safe and sound! Also now that she's shed most of her winter coat I can see how small she really is. I can't see ribs, but I can see a bit of her hip bones. Is there anything I can do? Maybe try and feed her some soupie on the side? I already feed her mostly dark and fatty cuts. I also leave the skin on things for her to munch on so I'm not sure what to do to fatten her up.

Thanks for all the kind words.
Our Angel Evanna gave you quite a scare! I hate when they hide on us. I once looked for four hours for Ponce, and was in tears. He was hiding behind an open dresser drawer. The drawer was barely open and I didn't even notice it was open. After awhile, you learn all their hiding spots. Of course, you're moving and will have to learn all new hiding spots.
Can you take a picture of Evanna, hold her and let her dangle. She should be straight up and down, without a waistline. She is a small female and seems like she is at a good weight, but let's take a look.
