Me too. I went to feed her and heard a squeak. So I had a quick look and it was only one- so Must of just started.
The Kit must of been born in the litter as he/she was covered in litter- But Quizzy was getting it all off.
I will check on her in about an hour. She kept licking the crap out of me when I put food in her bowl. And got upset I left. But I'd rather leave her alone than interfere (Right now that is). I hope there is no trip to the vet for Oxytocin shot or c section. I will update again later.

Sure is Libby!
I went out to give her some nutrigel to help boost her energy levels and she started pushing so I video'd number 6 being born. Was exciting!
That was over an hour ago now LOL.

Thankyou Kraesmom. Libby- there sure will be provided they are all ok . She just had her 7th, yet it was stillborn. As I was filling up her water bowl and food bowl she dropped a baby in my hand. MASSIVE! they are all longer than my middle finger. I was a bit worried that she put it in my hand, so I took a quick pic LOL and offered it back and she put it back in with the rest. They are all feeding.

Hi showing you them like that shows she has utter trust in you I am keeping my fingers crossed that her milk drops in and the weather is kind to you (lots of kits have been lost due to it being too hot ) I would give her plenty kitten replacer milk or goats milk to ensure her milk is rich in calcium and encourage her to make plenty milk also give her a vit e capsule squeezed into the milk once a week ( helps milk production and to help prevent mastitis ) once she has finished feeding her kits 6-8 weeks you can have them speyed by 8 weeks of age your kits should be totally independent and not rely on mom for anything good luck I am pleased all has gone well take care bye for now Bev

Hi showing you them like that shows she has utter trust in you I am keeping my fingers crossed that her milk drops in and the weather is kind to you (lots of kits have been lost due to it being too hot ) I would give her plenty kitten replacer milk or goats milk to ensure her milk is rich in calcium and encourage her to make plenty milk also give her a vit e capsule squeezed into the milk once a week ( helps milk production and to help prevent mastitis ) once she has finished feeding her kits 6-8 weeks you can have them speyed by 8 weeks of age your kits should be totally independent and not rely on mom for anything good luck I am pleased all has gone well take care bye for now Bev Thanks Bev. I used to give her goat milk formula along with bottle feeding her babies every 2- 4 hours (both previous litters) with the goat milk formula (Advised by Vet back then) as Quizzy suffered Insulinoma with her 2nd litter. She made a FULL recovery and I have kept her vitamin, blood sugar and calcium stores up. She receives nutrigel twice a week- a few big licks of the tube. I was advised by the vet to give her 1 ml of calcium syrup a day for the first 2 weeks and then drop to .5ml a day. Spoilt little girl she is. She ended up having 7 babies- but the final one was stillborn I assume- she kicked it out of the bedding. My two main problems are the heat- its not overly hot here- but we have been reaching in the 20 degrees celcius lately. She is out of the weather- I moved her cage into the Man cave haha. (Cannot have her inside as I have little kids) And the second problem is maggots! Yesterday and today I have downsized her meat each feeding time but I have increased the amount of times she is fed because of this. I put fresh meat in her bowl for her (a teaspoon each time now) and no joke- if she hasn't eaten all of it -2 hours later there are MAGGOTS! Those horrible flies are sending me insane. (I have a crack in the glass in the shed that I am assuming they are getting through). I throw out all old food in the bowl and any that is outside the bowl and I wash the bowl each time. They grow so fast! I check all her food in the fridge and there are no maggots in there at all and I am feeding her fresh meat and carcasses etc. We have horrible blow flies around here. Any suggestions on that? I have put a cloth over the space of her cage that has small gaps (just less than a thumbnail square size) but the heat concerns me so I don't want to cover it. I just fed her just before I typed this and all remaining 6 kits are feeding and squeaking.
