They are being spoiled and will only eat if I am holding them.

When I reintroduce chicken, is it regular or organic? I tried egg yolk for the weekend.

I would do the organic TBH. If the issue IS the antibiotic and not the protein trialing organic first will show no reactions. Once they have had that for 2-3 meals check for reaction, go back to a neutral protein, then try the regular chicken again. Just as an aside- you ARE using powdered eggshells for calcium through this?

Thank you. Using chicken again would be great because of the bones. I am using powdered eggshells. Charlie's antibiotic is finished today and I take him to the vet this week. His scabs look better. I feel more calm and might find the cause of this allergy. To make sure I have this right. Try organic chicken for 2 days, go to turkey for 2 days, then try regular chicken again.

Actually try the organic chicken for about 3 days. Same with the turkey. The try the chicken for a meal and check. Try for a second and check. Et

I gave them organic chicken this morning and I am keeping them in their cage to watch in a controlled environment so I don't have to guess.

They are doing fine on the organic chicken. I am thinking it was the carpet beetle that caused the allergic reaction. I am loving that they can eat the bones. Tomorrow or Friday, I'll do turkey.

It is possible. What else have they had? Beef, turkey, chicken(working on getting extra proteins in at the same time ) And what type of heart, liver, other organ can you access? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I have organic chicken livers, pork heart, and I think pork kidney. Regular chicken hearts. I wasn't sure if I could add organs in yet.
Beef (don't like), chicken, quail, turkey, and pork( don't like).

Alright. Let's work on the pork for the next protein then. Using their favourite meal, sliver some wee bits of pork up. Mix in well. Just keep giving it like that until they accept it You can do that with every protein they aren't fond of. As for the allergy we will get another one or two "safe" proteins in and then try the regular chicken again.

sounds like a good plan.
When I tried that before they would eat the chicken and leave the pork. I even marinated the pork in egg.

Try it for a few days. You can even fix it the night before and let it sit in the fridge for 12 hours
