My new forum name is my real name. I was thinking of going with my photo bucket name but it didn't except. Former forum name was 1, it was to get past the registration denial, hard to find any acceptable name. Better then what I tryed to do by far at least. I'm autistic and capable of losing my mind. Hoping its just as safe for me or better hear.

Hi Rose, my name is Bella pleasure to meet you since I dont think I ever met you on the other board.. or maybe I did and I didnt know your name, lol. I am a NYC original who currently resides in VA, I am 22. I have 4 furkids and a fiancee, no skin kids. My fiancee is 24, he is originally from Honduras (our household is primarily spanish speaking, furkids respond to spanish comands, Tequila responds to spanish english and spanglish. My fiancee is still learning english so spanglish is what we speak when we have company, lol) He is a cook, I am a phlebotomist. We plan to go to Honduras in the next few years so that I can go back to school to become a vet and I would like to open the first ever animal shelter in the town he grew up in (wish me luck!) My Furkids are my life. My mom calls them her grandchildren, I probably will never have skin kids. (People think I will change my mind but weather I do or not, I cant change biology and if Im not fully functional, Im not fully functional. Oh well, everything happens for a reason and I believe I was put here to save lives not make them ) My furkids are Tequila, my chihuahua (he will be 5 y/o on Feb 17), Mojito my gib who is adopted but from what I was told when I adopted him, he is around 4-5 y/o now, Kahlua my sprite who is also adopted, from what I was told she is about 3 now and then there is Sailor Jerry who is the semi-feral/stray that I take care of. I think hes some where between 2-4 y/o but probably closer to 4. I am switching everyone to raw.. or at least attempting too. Last night Tequila had a throwup attack after he ate some meat but I am not sure the exact cause seeing as he has eaten the same meat cooked and small amounts of it raw and even licked the spoon of soupies made for the ferts with the same meat. Kahlua took to raw beautifully, Mojito took a little more work but he is getting there- though they are still on soupies. Have you tried boiled Giblets for the cats? Sailor Jerry is pretty picky about what he will and will not eat (weird, I thought, for a semi feral cat who eats squirrel entrails.. lol) but he loves giblets, my best friend has a cat who is almost 2 and has always been on kibble but she will go nuts over some boiled giblets as will the brand new (kibble fed) kitten they just got. I know that cooking takes away all the good stuff but its worth a shot just to get them used to eating it, just cook it less each time. Just a thought

@ SherryLynne Thanks for the PM notice on the old board, I replied but you can disregard it. I checked it out and it seemed like people were getting started so I figured "Guess my reply was pointless, oops!" so I signed up and wanted to let you know, lol. Thanks again, and sorry

I'm over there too, but I figured I'd use my real name and not just my regular screen name, then I thought about it and changed it again so that it has my real name and my screen name I used over at the other board so I could b recognized!

Hey guys, glad to see you all. I'm Zofia, but just call me Zoshi, or whatever really I don't mind. 25, living in Chicago, Il, and I've got three ferrets and two birds. There's the oldest, Tikki, who just turned 5 and got hit with both Adrenal and Insulinoma (fun fun), and Mis (sable) and Coco (champagne) who just turned 2. All three fuzzies are on a raw/whole prey diet (they eat their mousies with fur now!) and they're doing great on it. Then there's the birds, the Green Hornet who is a Spanish Timbrado canary (and doesn't want to sing much) and the yellow Budgie.... Yellow. I wasn't very creative with her name. She gets mad easily and screeches when she wants attention. There's also an aquarium full of fish and the spider that lives on my windowsill. Other than that I'm going to my first volunteer orientation at PAWS Chicago next week and I'm super excited about that, and I'm hoping that once things settle down monetary-wise I'll be able to take courses and get registered as a vet tech. :3 Of course, specializing in carnivore nutrition would be awesome, but little steps first, right?

Hey, all. I'm Gwen from Berea KY. I am currently going to school here with my husband, but we may be leaving KY soon, because hubby is enlisting in the navy. We've been married for 3 years, and we have four furkids: Shiloh, Oz, Fiddler, and Hiro. Since they've been on raw (consistently since about August of last year), they have all turned into four healthy little plush balls of fur. They are my heart and soul, and cheer me on bad days.

Hi everyone. Im Cheyann from MN and I am 17 years old. I have 18 fur babies. 2 cats, 3 ferrets, 3 rats, 2 rabbits, 2 hamsters, 5 guinea pigs and a dog. All of my carnivores are on raw diets but the stubborn ferts will only eat soup. All of my other animals (except for the hamsters ) are all on natural/ mostly natural diets too.
