Maybe. Keep an eye on him and see if he eats of his own volition. That sounds promising if he was trying food on his own earlier. How much bone is Loki getting? Are his poops well formed or loose?
Ferretone isn't too bad for them, though not as good as a fish oil given the preservatives and the fact that it uses ickier oils, but it's not offensively harmful as an occasional treat or bribe. I use it for nail trimmings and vet visits. Mine will hunt the bottle down as well, stuff is like crack to them.

Lokis poops are well formed, he usually gets a little bone every day, tried a boneless day and they were a little loose, and green on occasion. He's trying new things, and we were force feeding him quite a bit taking into account that he was eating 1/4 of his weight. But it's promising, he'll still visit the new vet were looking into this week. Lokis caugh is subsiding, he almost took an er vet trip for some mouth breathing... But I thought maybe it was kinda how we as people mouth breathe when we're stuffy... But he's doing better, he's still got his ravenous appetite.
And it's amazing how docile he is waiting for the ferretone bottle though...

Yes, they'll do anything for a hit Just don't give too much at once or you'll get some lovely liquid poos afterwards. If he's sick and seems stuffy you can turn the shower on nice and hot in the bathroom and let it run for 5 minutes, with the door shut if possible. Sit with the ferret or close him in the bathroom after you've run and shut off the water and let him have ten minutes in the steam, it'll do wonders to unstuff them for a while. Sometimes a ferret will pant a bit if they've been recently grooming and gotten some fur stuck in their mouth or throat and are trying to get it out, they'll often follow this up with coughing or some harsh breathing and maybe even splash their head in the water dish trying to get it out.

Lol.. Water dishes... Cleaned all the bedding, 30 seconds later Loki is upside done flipping the water dish...
Last night Loki ate the rest of a cgh drumstick, and about 2 oz of venison, he's been munching on that today too, I usually leave it for about 24 hours after that the smell in their room gets to me lol.
The dr... Was fed about five oz of soup yesterday, and he's seemingly more attached to the kibble, I'm thinking maybe getting some of the marshals stuff that they feed him there and see if he will eat that and we can start the switch over? Today he's eaten about two ounces, he was refusing like mad when I was trying t feed him this afternoon. He did eat a little bit on his own when he was in his cage. By a little bit I mean he licked the soup 2-3 times and walked off...

By all means, get a small bag of kibble if you want and see if he'll eat that. Maybe even make a soup out of it. Something is better than nothing, and if he eats that consistently you can always wean him off of it later.

That's kinda what I was thinking too, weaning later would be better than feeding him around the clock

Today on Lokis menus were chunks of pork, and pork fat, some larger chunks of venison, and he finished off a cgh wing he had stashed somewhere. Oh, and I gave him a little sliver or two of beef liver.
Little doom is back eating the marshals, but he's half arsedly feeding himself...he will likely be on hold for the switch for a little bit since he wasn't quite healthy?

Yes I would wait with doomy until he's eating regularly. What do you mean by half a**ed eating?

He kinda nibbles and runs away, the water dish becomes really interesting, lick a little soup, take a piece of kibble to the den, then come back, kinda repeat the process lol... I did give him fresh kibble last night just before bed at around 2 am, he ate almost 1/4 cup of it in that time, and looks like maybe 1/8 cup of the marshal soup mix (water/ kibble) so that made me happy, I just had forgotten to throw in an update, sorry about that, but it does seem he likes it.
If I was to go and get a fuzzy mouse or something, what would be the best way to introduce it to Loki? Slice into it and see if he smells or tastes something he likes maybe?

Maybe he's nervous, did you happen to rig him up a little cubby hole or anything to dine in private? It needn't be anything fancy, even a cardboard box will do. My girls when kibble fed used to grab pieces and run off to stash them all over the cage to nibble on in private.
If you want to try a mouse, try cutting it open to expose the innards to your little guy, and failing him taking interest at that you can try dabbing soup or something on the mouse to encourage him. Some animals have a hard time with the fur. Are you going with frozen pre killed, or buying a live mouse from a store? If you're buying a live mouse don't say you're buying it to feed, lie and say it's to be a pet for your kid or something. Live feeding is illegal in some places and even if you intend to pre kill the mouse before you give it to your ferret, a lot of store won't sell it to you. So dumb.
Also, just be warned that whole prey can get messy, so be prepared to clean up after or feed in a spot where you won't care if they fling the guts all over the place. (Isn't that what mouse intestines are for? Festive decoration?)

He's kinda had one all along, he always slept in this cardboard box that, I decided that maybe it was getting too small, but he still loves it lol, but I made a new nice big o me for him, that I'm sure once they are together in an open cage they will share, Loki isn't much of a den weasel it seems, but doomies sure is.. I'm not sure if this is too big to be a feeding den, lemme know, I can adjust it lol. Here is a picture of what we've got... Excuse the mess I haven't cleaned the cage today, busy busy lol, I did get a bunch of chicken hearts and livers and wing tips for freebies today though! Loki will be in love!

Oh that's lovely, I'm sure they will love it! Mine prefer sleeping in some enclosed nook generally unless it's hot out. Babies will often pass out unexpectedly, often in the middle of playing, or on their way to the litter box etc. You can find them in some interesting positions or places! Murder once fell asleep with his head in the water crock. Luckily he was just barely in it so he didn't drown before i spotted him.

Lol, funny you mention that... Loki passed out seemingly from food coma on some of his food... The little box was great, I didn't even realize it would have been considered a den lol... I though of it more as the place Loki trapped doom to beat him around... Loki ate some fresh chicken heart, one whole heart, no soup at all on his dinner, a half of a cgh wing, and some slabs of venison. He's still eating around 6 oz a day. Doomie is up and about, the vet said to keep them separated for a week to prevent Loki from possibly getting what doomie has... I dunno. He's high energy dooking about, oh and his fecal was clear as well. His poops are huge, and frequent... He's eaten about 1/3 cup today, and another maybe 1/8 cup of the poo soup.

Poops on Marshall's especially are huge... and the stink! I'm glad to hear he's eating that at least. I'd give him a couple of days to make sure he stays eating that then start slipping him a little raw soup in with his kibble soup maybe. See, here's the problem with separating them for quarantine. Are they living in the same airspace? Do you shower and change your clothes/shoes in between being exposed to them? Of course not, and really since you still have them in the same building together you can't do a true quarantine in a home environment. If doomie was shedding something through his feces that was catch able, then then a quarantine might work, but generally for a lot of things it's pretty useless.

Gah thank god, when one is out and the other wakes up tantrums ensue...they are both put dooking like mad men... The only problem I see is with rough play, doomie has a little shaved part on his neck from the blood draw, should I worry too muc about that?
