Agh, sorry. What would you suggest as far as balancing his diet?

Most of the CGH meals have bone but the chicken ones haven't because I'm using thighs at the moment.

Okay, thanks He really needs 8-9 consumable bone meals a week. Thighs could make up a couple of those, but no more since there isn't a lot of bone there. Can you find kidney, lung, anything else for organ meat?

I will have to look around a bit. I don't think they had stuff like that at the grocery store I usually go to.

Beef or pork kidney is frequently in the freezer section if some grocers. Do you have an ethnic market nearby? I've wound up resorting to dehydrated kidney and lung treats a few times a week from an "upper scale" pet boutique"

I'm having trouble finding anything other than livers and hearts. I'll keep looking.

Okay, for the interim we can stick with liver until you can find something else What else can you find for bone? He really needs a LOT more in there, or he could suffer from calcium deficiencies.

Okay, I have a whole chicken instead of thighs so he'll be getting a lot more bone. Could you remind me what the minimum number of bone in meals/week is?

8-9 consumable bone meals a week. Of those, at least 6 need to be bone heavy. Wings, necks, etc. Thighs and drumsticks are bone light, so only a couple meals of those a week.

Alright. I noticed a spot by his back teeth today that looks white but I can't tell if it's an ulcer or just a wonky tooth I've never noticed before. His eating doesn't seem effected...

Do you mean on the gum or roof of the mouth? If so, it could be a cyst.

The roof of his mouth right next to his molar. He makes it hard for me to get a good look.

Keep an eye on it. If it changes, or seems to affect him, take him in.
