The milk thistle is working for Jeremy. All of the orange color is gone.
Crash had her stitches removed today. Her leg still slides out from under her sometimes but over all she is recovering nicely.
Doc has been diagnosed with early adrenal. The vet is ordering an implant for him. It should be in next week.
Coontail did not get a full month out of his last shot but we are hoping that he will get three weeks from the latest one. We will be posting more bucket list activities soon.

Milk thistle makes a huge difference with liver problems! Our Siamese cat developed hepatic lipidosis. Totally yellow. The milk thistle helped detox his liver far faster than we had expected

Implants are back ordered, so Doc hasn't gotten his yet. Ar
Good & bad news with Arthus. We are officially adopting him so he is not a foster anymore (dance) Bad news he started displaying adrenal symptoms yesterday. (headwall) He will have to be caged by himself with separate playtime until the implant takes effect.
So two for implantation as soon as the implants come in.

That's the way it goes isn't it (headwall) Congratulations on your newest, I'm sorry that he's going to be needing an implant so soon. At least he will get it. Thank you for caring for these wee ones ciao

Oh no We've had that happen within a couple months of adopting as well. But as Heather said- at least he'll be getting one now.

He really is a beauty.
I love the pick of the shoe chewing, I have really thick slippers that go up my ankles I have to wear because peanut loves feet and they attack my slippers like that, it cracks me up every time

Funny thing is they completely ignore my slippers.

I took Jeremy to the vet this evening. He was looking a bit off this morning but nothing overly concerning. When I got home it was reported that he had slept the entire time I was gone even though he was out of the cage, wouldn't eat or drink, had not used the litterbox, his spleen had enlarged & shrank back to normal, he was wheezing & having weakness in his front & hind legs. The only thing the vet could find was red blood cells in his urine. He is puzzled by the weakness but feels he has a bladder infection & beginnings of an upper respiratory infection. So he is on antibiotics, pain meds & observation for the next few days.

Fingers crossed the antibiotics help. Infections can do such a number on them Athena presented a lot like that with a bacterial overgrowth.

Can you do sub q injections? Dehydration can and does knock them flat faster than anything else.
