Oh my goodness. Poor Kenai. I'm happy he made it out of surgery already, but oh my.. I can't believe it. You're both in my thoughts and prayers. Keep on hanging in there. Stay strong! You know we're all here for you. And please be sure to take care of yourself as well!

Katt, if you do a chip in or some drive... let me know. I'll donate stone portraits to those that help. Best I can do in my current situation.

lol Heather I keep doing that too. It's Kenai this time believe it or not. Now my concern is since neither of us have a Clue as to what it is, how on earth are we going to prevent it? Has anyone heard of such a thing? She said it was absolutely rancid, even through her surgical mask...

Oh, crap...no. I"m sorry. I really messed that one up. Duh...I will redo the candle thing {sigh} it won't hurt Koda to get a healing boost anyway the spoiled little brat ;D Does she have any idea at all what might have caused this? For this to happen to Koda made much more sense actually. A huge hairball...unable to move it? I've heard of that happening before. ciao

Oh my! Poor Kenai All I can think of is a hair ball that the meat maybe wrapped around? I gather there was nothing in his bowel that prevented the food from passing?

I made it through work, not really sure how. Just got to the clinic and now I'm just waiting to be brought back so I can try to get him to eat so he can come home.

Kenai is home. He looks even worse off than Koda did. He REALLY didn't want to eat, but I got him to eat enough that they let him go home thankfully. He's on amoxi, metro, and buprenorphine. Giving the metro was difficult because he wasn't that interested in the Ferretvite... I hope I can keep him eating.

He is really not very interested in food. I have to really work to get him to eat. All he wants to do is sleep. I know he needs the rest to recover, but it's still so alarming. At least Koda was eating when he got home. I am just completely overwhelmed right now, in every possibly way. Physically, emotionally, financially, spiritually, mentally... I'm at my breaking point. On the way to the vet last night I was so anxious I was literally gagging - I almost threw up in the car on the way there. I just can't even function anymore.
