Awesome! Thanks I'm excited to try that. Wade ate about .5 oz off my finger this morning. He seems to do better for evening feeding, I'm guessing it's because he's eating the kibble overnight and isn't as hungry as he is in the evening?. Bruce is going great eating 2oz mornings and evening. Would it be ok to feed him more? He's bigger than Wade and acts a lot more hungry. I don't want to make him fat but I want to make sure he's getting enough. I've switched to using wood pellets in the litter, finally, I found a feed store that's not too far that sells 40lb bags for a good price. The boys are also getting a brand new and much larger ferret nation cage on Wednesday!

At this stage I would feed him as much as he wants. Their little bodies are recovering from the damage kibble does to them and they tend to eat like they have been starved for a while.
Congrats on the new cage! I have three double FN and one single myself. They are very nice..
I'd try and not give wade any kibble for a day and see how he does eating just his mush. He will eat more when he is hungry. My Gizmo(dip) use to hold out and I'd give in because he would go so long without eating, we had a back and forth fight for months trying to make progress. I think he finally got tired of fighting me lol. Took forever to get him 100% on raw.

Great! Thanks! I'll start offering more and see how much he wants. I'm so excited by all these changes for them. I'm going out of town for a few days around Christmas but I have a friend house sitting that will be feeding raw for me. I will start taking the kibble away when I get back. I am nervous about that, but like you said I think he is holding out because he knows he eventually will get kibble. He is extremely stubborn so I'm sure that it will take me a while with him, a lot like your Gizmo. I'm probably in for a long time with him but that's OK, I will keep trying as long as he needs. He still eating about 2 ounces in the morning and evening off my fingertip. He won't eat it though if I put it in the cage or sit with him with the bowl in my lap, only out of my hand

I have a kiddo named Monster that decided one day that he wasn't going to eat his organ soup anymore. So I had to start feeding him with a syringe. I didn't force feed him. I just held it to his nose and he licked it off. It took me 2 months of slowly lowering the syringe trying over and over to get his little nose down and in the bowl to eat on his own.. and one day he finally did it. They are nutty little critters and very stubborn. All you can do is keep working on trying to convince him that he can eat on his own lol. All the sudden one day he will just do it and you will wonder why it was so hard in the first place! When you come back I think we can also try to focus a bit more on Bruce and getting him to eat chunks and bone. Do you feed them together? Sometimes they follow suit, monkey see monkey do sort of thing..if wade sees Bruce eating all his raw foods and bones then he might dig in. Probably can't get that lucky, but worth a try

Wow ok! What a stubborn guy! Lol it's good to know that I'm not the only one with a very stubborn ferret. I will start holding my hand over the bowl and work from there and s the what happens. I have been feeding them separately mainly because it takes a long time to feed Wade. I'll start feeding them in the play pin together, I've done it once but Bruce tried to eat all the soup instead of his chunks

We are finally back. Ferrets are good I fed Wade out of a little syringe this morning with Bruce around while Bruce ate some soup out of the bowl. He ate about half his bowl of chunks but decided to steal his brothers soup lol

It's so nice to be home with them I love them both, Wade is my cuddler though so it's such a great feeling to get snuggles and kisses from them. I've been feeding them together and Bruce has been chowing down! Lol I'd say he's eating 2 oz in the am and between 2-3 in the evening. He's getting huge! He's bigger than Wade and Wade is over a year older. Wade was being super stubborn this morning and only ate half an ounce, but this evening he ate just under two from a syringe. I'll post pictures and weights tomorrow

Wow they look fantastic! Bruce is really coming along. I'd keep on doing the same and just try and introduce a new protein every couple of weeks. I wait 2 weeks or so to make sure they don't have any signs of being allergic or sensitive. Just slowly decrease the boneless pieces and make the chunks bigger. When you think he is ready, take a knife and make some cuts into the drummettes so there is some shredded meat to grab on to. He should get the hint. Wade is making progress too, just on his own time lol. He will get there slowly! I'm so proud of your little guys, they really do look fantastic.
