Also on a side note that has nothing at all with them eating, I bought a 15 foot long clear flexible tube and they are going crazy playing in it. Wade has a lot of energy tonight, its really nice to see. He goes in the tube from one direction and Bruce is going in from the other lol Bruce comes at Wade with his mouth wide open, so wade shuffles backwards as quick as he can..runs out of the tube and pounces on top of the tube where Bruce is haha

Try chopping a piece of the wing off and then hiding it in the soup. Maybe a piece the size of your finger nail.
Sleeping more during the winter time is fairly normal. My kids sleep a bit more starting this time of year. Are they shedding?
Tues are so much fun. I buy those big black drain tube and I curl them up and zip strip them together. It's cute to see them run through them.
Wade is just going to take more time. He's a stubborn guy.. but we will get there don't worry!

He's still not taking the bigger chunks. I'll just keep putting it in with the soup. They are both starting to shed. Wade still isn't taking any on his own free will but I'm continuing to give him a little soup each day. He is a very stubborn guy but I know one of these days he's going to take it.
Bruce eats the soup really well, thicker soup with small slivers in it but hasn't eaten any of the bigger chunks or meat from the wings yet.

Are you trying to add crushed kibble in with Wades portion?
Bruce I'd just keep trying to add in pieces of the wing with bone in it, just little tiny pieces hidden in his soup that he likes.

Yes Wade is getting crushed kibble mixed in with the soup, it's probably a higher ratio of kibble than soup. It's so crazy to me that he eats the kibble when I sprinkle the pro biotic on in but anything else I've tried and he won't touch it. He ate half an ounce morning and evening today. Still getting the kibble a few hours later. His weight is now 997g! Excited to see that.
Bruce ate 2oz of thick soup with chunks morning and evening today. He is still avoiding the bigger chunks I've pulled off the wing, he eats everything else. He weighs 1020g

Bruce is just trucking along, I'd just keep at it, add more bigger chunks so they are harder to avoid.
Wade.. I'll consult with a couple other mentors and see if they have any other ideas. I know with my Gizmo it took a full year to switch him, he was just THAT stubborn. The soup stage for him took like 8 months.

Sherry suggested feeding him his kibble only at night and trying raw during the day. How do you feel about that?

Hi. Sorry for the lack of response. My life is super crazy busy right now.
Bruce continues to do well. He still isn't eating the bigger chunks but he is averaging 2 oz or a little more each meal. He weighs 1150g
Wade weighs 1040g now. He's getting 2oz of soup am and pm. He eats it if I put it in his mouth and I tried with no kibble. He eats it once it's in his mouth. He hasn't spit any out he just doesn't won't eat it unless I put it in his mouth. I'm hesitant to do that. I just got his weight back up. I'm just really nervous about doing that

I understand being nervous. It is something you could try for 2-3 days and if he doesn't respond, we can try a different route. If you want to wait a few more days and try to get a little more weight on him first that is okay too.
With bruce try and reduce the amount of soup and increase the amount of small chunks and see if you can get him to eat everything as chunks, his organs and meat together.

Amanda, I am so so sorry. I've been having a very hectic two weeks. I'm about to get a root canal, having car issues, had a family member pass.....a bunch of stuff. I'm sorry for not responding I've just been really stresses out and busy.
I'll update you on weights when I get home. Bruce of course is doing really awesome. Wade is eating soup from a little syringe, he licks it off and doesn't spit it out so that's been nice.
I'm a little worried about him, his hair in his tail has thinned out a lot. Is this a normal shedding thing during season change? I called to ask my vet and they were like it could be adrenal so you really need to bring him in. I can't really afford the vet right now. How can I know if I should be worried if it's more than just shedding? He seems completely fine otherwise

So if you increase the number of chunks (but keep them very small) and reduce the soup, he doesn't eat?

Hi! Wade weighs 1110g, Bruce is 1351g
Bruce is consistently eating small chunks with almost no soup but is still not interest in meat with bone. I'm still just doing soup with Wade, no more kibble mixed in though! Both eating about 2oz twice a day. Wades tail hasn't lost anymore hair, he's kind of a yellow color right now though. Anyway, we ar definitely making progress
