Give my love to Shady. I hope the two of you find comfort together in your grief.

I;m really sorry. You did your best, but, inevitably, the day always comes, and not just for our beloved pets. I've had to make that decision a dozen or more times over the years. It's never easy, but like you said, sometimes the alternative is worse for them. Wishing you peace with your decision. Give the others lots of hugs.

This sounds a lot like what we are going through with Koufos.
He has consistent greenish yellowish diarrhea, all the time.
I have tried Digestive enzymes, he is on a cocktail of meds and is not responding to any of them. He is lethargic and can barely walk straight. He still gets up to poop and does not go in his sleeping area.
I am wondering if we are going down the wrong diagnostic trail with the antibiotics.
He is getting about 40cc of Subq per day and 80cc of soup, caronivore care, Instinct raw mix.
The other day his Butt was so red and sore.
Like Sunny initial rounds of Xrays and Bloodwork show normal. I am really hoping that Koufos's does not go down the same road as Sunny.
Any advice since you have already been here, anything you wish you could do different that could help Koufos.
I am really worried about him. He is right now Still maintaining his weight at 1 lb 12 oz, but he is experiencing severe Muscle wasting.
I don't see him living very long if he is not getting any nutrition from his food.

If I could have done something different I would have gotten the biopsy sooner. Then I would have gotten him on the leukeran a lot sooner. It is a chemo drug, but also used for severe IBD.
