I like the scooping kinds but can't deal with it tracking everywhere, especially straight into their water bowl! I use Yesterdays's New here, go through 2-3 bags a month at $5.40 a bag. Wood pellets just break down too fast into dust for me.

I've tried Swheat scoop but I thought it was a huge waste of money. How can you even scoop the poo anyways?? I don't know about your ferrets, but my ferret likes to crap literally in the corner and often up the side a bit, so scooping doesn't work. Now I just cover the corner litter box with newspaper so when he poops up the side it's still easy to clean. I also fill it with 3 cups or so of wood pellets, which cost like $5 a bag and last me at least 3 months.

I just scoop the litter over the stuff on the side, and then scrape it off with the scooper

The only thing I like about feline pine is the odour control. It's actually pretty amazing. But if you think swheat scoop and wbcl tracks- just wait til you try feline pine ;D

I use feline pine and its pretty bad about tracking =/ I vaccum sawdust up everyday but the odor control is worth it. I put a little baking soda in the back for an extra boost. I tried yesterdays news but it got kinda smelly, I wont use any kind of tidy cat or anything else because of the dust.. I hear worlds best is awesome but with as many litter boxes as I scoop/change i'd spend a fortune on it.

You know something? I've actually found both swheat scoop and world's best to be far more absorbant, both of odour and moisture, than any of the pelleted litters That may be true, but the smallest bag of WB Cat Litter for me lasts no more than two weeks while one 30 lb. bag of Good Mews I can get for $5.50-$8.00 and it lasts at least around a couple months.

I'll admit- the small one only lasts me a week. But that's for the 3 boxes in the cage, and the 3 boxes upstairs that the cats also use. So that's really not too bad!

I just want to add that, per the rave reviews for world's best on this thread, I went out and bought a small bag to try it..
