You can try Pm'ing Mikey....his boy is from a breeder and Finn (name of his fuzzbutt) is a real marshmallow (he has a couple of threads about him holisticferret60.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=talk&action=display&thread=5622 ) . This is one of the threads that he started in the spring. Finn has to be one of the sweetest fuzz I can think of. She will also ship once you answer all her pertinent questions and such. She's on board here too. You would probably have to fill out an application to get on the list for next spring's kits though. I'm not sure she has any left. ciao

The closest is PA, NY or NJ or you have to have it shipped it. Believe me, I've looked long and hard for a breeder as I live in NH. The last New England breeder closed down a while ago.

Does Ferretown Ferrets SHIP?! Prob not to me since I am in Florida. Nancy breeds nice ferrets. I love Finn. I would love one of Joan Clague's ferrets. Only thing is I will have to plan it out to drive to Texas and my job is so busy right now. I wonder how a hybrid would get along with Sonny?

It would be how would Sonny get along with a kit Do you think he would share his sockmonkeys or his bathtub I think it would rather interesting just what Sonny could teach a little brother or sister ciao

I believe I just saw my life pass before my eyes at the thought of Sonny and a Cricket clone in cahoots.

I don't think mayhem would cover it. Unless you're thinking on the scale of the insurance commercials' version of mayhem.

boots, sorry to hijack your thread! But Sonny is a funny little guy around here. Anyways, since you are in Vermont, why don't you get a kit from a pet store if you don't have shelters around? MOst of us have farm babies and they are just as lovable as a breeder kiddo. After all you would be saving a life... The store kits are the lucky ones, unfortunately most of them go to labs... Just a thought.

The alternative is why put money into the farms? and perpetuate their bad breeding habits? I"m not saying not to because all little ones deserve love in my books but unfortunately this is how we make business for those types I'm all for rescue but I hate putting money into Marshals pockets ciao

its ok. I thought about getting one from a pet store but when reading more info it seemed like they will have alot more health problems than from a breeder?

Depends on the breeder. It's rather like dogs and cats too....show stock is sometimes sketchy but there are breeders who are out there that breed for the betterment of their breed. ciao
