i've always had big litters... 9 and 11 this year, 11, 12, 7, 9.. my lowest litter was 5.. but she co raised 17 with no problems.. Wow, that is a lot of kits to keep track of and some busy moms. How the heck does 1 mom supervise 12 kits?

That little runt is just too precious. I hope she makes it cuz I feel the same about what Allenya said. Those wee nuggets are just to die for. I can just imagine all the little squeaks and grunts they're making. Most adorable thing ever!

We named the runt Avita (meaning "to live") bit unfortunately she did not make it through the night There is 8 left and I am hoping and preying they make it through and grow big strong and healthy! I have ner had a litter with 5 hobs so I am very excited! They are quite large boys and obviously the runt couldn't compete against the other 8 to get food RIP Avita and may all the rest survive!

Ugh, so heart breaking to hear that 3 are gone already. Those sweet babies. DIP. I really hope they make it through. I know how terrible it feels to lose one from a litter. When my dog had her litter of 11 puppies, one of them passed. I was so sad about that pup. I can only imagine how losing 3 feels. Hang in there little babies! Grow big and strong

We have lost 4 so far hun, she delivered 12 and when I came home 1 hadnt made it through delivery, lost 2 by Wednesday morning and then lost the runt by this morning I am hoping it is just because she was overwhelmed and didnt know how to feed 12 kits with only 8 nipples, now there are 8 left I am hoping and preying they all survive and thrive and turn into beautiful fuzzybuttheads
