Wow 13? Momma is going to be busy! Fingers crossed, I hope a lot of them (hopefully all of them) pull through! I know how hard it is for that to happen... But fingers crossed!

Awww, they're too precious. Such gorgeous litter of little squirming pinkies! It's so hard to picture my girl ever being that tiny before. They look so delicate! How's momma Badger doing? I hope she's recovering alright. I'd love to see some proud momma nursing/guarding her litter photos

Oooo!! They are so tiny and cute. I agree that it is hard to picture my kids that small. I think these are the tiniest baby ferrets I've never gotten to see. Most pictures I've seen they are older then this. An amazing miracle, thank you for sharing Sam. The little on in the bottom on the second picture looks smaller then all the others?
DIP little number 12.

It is hard to believe they once were that small ^_^ Understandable that we lose one or two in a litter that big. 12 is literally 2 x a normal litter haha! Lets hope the remaining 11 kits make it through healthy and happy. I knew she was having a massive litter. I guessed 10 only because I was in denial and didnt want to mention her having more and gynx myself but hey turned out she had 12 anyway haha! Thank god we only lost one, could have been the first one and she struggled with delivery, will never know, it has a safe haven in our front garden, rest wee nugget! <3 Badger is doing absolutely wonderfully, I cried the second I saw her nursing her young, she has taken to it so naturally (unlike one mother I had) and she is doing spectacular. Eating and drinking well and nursing well, as far as I could see she nursed them about 3 times in the few hours I was there (my ferrets live at my mums house until we get our own place, shes only a 4 minute drive away). Will check on her again obviously as soon as I get home work and got my fingers crossed for the obvious little runt there, that bubba was about half the size of the others. I am seeing some VERY obvious hobs in there - they are HUGE!!!! such a proud grandma!!! Will definately get a photo of her nursing if I can tonight

She sounds like she is a wonderful mom.
I hope they all do well and grow big and strong. Specially the little runt, I have a soft spot for the littlest ones because they have to fight so much harder to make it through the hard times.
Yay more pictures.
