"persistent" ....that's a polite way of putting it ;D I couldn't even imagine that boy near a child. He was (is) hugely aggressive. There was no way around it. You got him from a fellow in TO right? ciao

I'm pretty sure it was a guy. They didn't even know he was deaf. I don't think I was told he was a biter. Poor guy. I got him just after my daughter was born, and I remember having to have her in her bouncy chair on a table, or in my arms if he wasn't in a cage. His teeth sunk deep. He's lucky to have you.

I"m sure you were never told he bit and they may never have figured out that he was deaf. A lot of people are totally unaware how frequently their little ones are deaf. That is often omitted from the information I'm sure that being lied to about temperament occurs as often as how old or how healthy the fuzz is . ciao

Congrats Heather!!! I had a similar experience with Sophie Ann today... They were running free today and she managed to levitate from the couch to the pass through between the family "ferret"room and kitchen... leaving Sophie Ann on the kitchen counter. I let her explore a few min watching her from my desk and then held both my hands out to her to sniff...moving very slowly, then picked her up and was allowed to bring her back to the Family "ferret"room and put her down... This happened 5 times today without her biting me, my oldest retured her to the room twice and my husband 3 times....no one got bitten, which for Sophie Ann is a miracle! I even filled up one side of the kitchen sink with a couple inches of water for her to play in. After she had her fill of water play I picked her up dried her off and carried her around the house for about 3 min with out getting bitten... maybe she's finally had her "ah-ha" moment? My husband asked if she was sick....

I don't know that church was abused. She might have been but she shows no fear in anything. I can pick her up and pet her. I just have to hold her so she can't bite me if she decides to. I've never hurt her so I don't know why im the one she goes for.

I sometimes wonder if the furbrats are scent driven. A perfume, a soap scent. Maybe, like us they just have a bad day ciao

well...that success was short lived... I walked into the family room and Velma attacked my wrist when I went to pet her and Sophie Ann grabbed onto my finger and sliced open my cuticle...awesome! Let the daily bloodletting begin! One day my furbabies will love me!

They were probably just trying to throw you off, be nice for a day and attack! I feel for you, cuticles are the worst, my little female used to always get me there right beside my nail.

I got a snuggle out of him today....don't congratulate him though...I reached over to pick him up a little later and he did the exorcist thing and tried to bite me. If you watch his eyes though, you know when he's going to bite. He gets that look. The eyes get that hard look to them and then he nails you. He knew I was there, it wasn't that I startled him ciao

Poor things can never really forget what's happened to them, can they Although Willow is now basically a darling, she still has her moments, too.
