No idea how much a neutered kit that age should weigh- but they SHOULD have a lot of baby pudge!

Hand feed him all the raw soupies he can hold. Extra fat would be a good addition as well. Goat's milk wouldn't hurt either.

If he's eating chopped and ground that's fine. He'll also need powdered or ground eggshell added in. 1/2tsp per 8 oz meat. Give him heart and liver as well for a balanced diet. For the amount of goats milk I'd say a tsp a day right now. If that amount is different, someone will correct me on it.

It's a good start--1 tsp. Make sure that you get a heavy amount of egg shell in your mix. This little one is going to need all the calcium and bone nutrients that you can get into him. A kit should be allowed to eat all the food they want to, no restrictions. Don't even try and figure out how much he should weigh...just feed ciao

my concern is he is just started to eat raw meat and i dont think he is eating enough. it seems like his jaws get tierd easly with the meat and he will stop eating the meat, but if i syringe the baby food after he eats the meat, i can get him to eat a lot more. so do i continue with the baby food? he wont eat it out of a spoon or plate yet.

The problem with syringe feeding is over feeding. If you overfeed him after his meat meal, he will vomit up all his dinner. What if you mixed the baby food with his meat meal? ciao

i will try that. the only problem that i may have is that he will only eat the meat when he sees the others eating it but i will try that in the morning.

He will learn to eat by watching the others. See if you can convince him to eat from the spoon. It will have to be quite liquid. ciao

I think you can use human-grade bone meal powder. I sprinkle some on heart and organ meals (since they have no available bone during these meals). Seems to help firm up poops and oddly, seems to help repel flies??? Ever since I started using bone meal powder, I've never had flies on the meals that had bone meal powder mixed in. Could be a coincidence, I'm not sure yet. Still experimenting. Now I just need to figure out how to keep the tiny gnat-like flies out of the litterbox

You can also pick up cuttle bone, the type birds use. It's pure calcium as well. Just grind it up and put it on his food in the same proportions.
