I just crack an egg into their raw food and mix. Make sure the egg is well mixed so that the yolk and white is mixed thoroughly...that's it Don't use more than 2 or 3 eggs per week. Wash out egg shells, dry and grind to a powder. Put in small baggie in the freezer and take out and use as necessary ciao

I was just reading through this for fun.... but... Heather, do the egg shells need to be in the freezer? I've been drying them, then powder with a mortar, and then put in a small container (not air tight - to prevent any left moisture from rotting), and leaving it on my counter. Will my egg shells go bad by doing it this way? Thanks in advance!

To be honest...I don't know ...it's just convenient and that way I know that they're ok and won't go mouldy ciao

;D Ok! Thanks for the honesty! Then, it should be safe for me to continue this way as long as I don't find mold, am I right? Thanks!!

That's fantastic!!! If he's doing so well with the chunks, you may want to consider adding chopped up necks or wings to his diet. He may not make a lot of headway immediately, but he's going to be teething, and he'll need something to chew on
