Sorry about the lengthy delay! We've both been working retarded hours and about the only free time we have we spend playing with the ferrets :-)
We have made a couple of adjustments to the menu and I'll get her to post it up soon. We'll hammer it down tonight.

Ferret weekly meal plan Sunday – Morning Meal: Skinless chicken quarter | Evening Meal: Turkey leg Monday – Morning Meal: Beef heart | Evening Meal: 2 Chicken wings Tuesday – Morning Meal: livers mixed with ¼ chicken breast (Will be only liver when we can wean them from the mush) | Evening Meal: Weekly Meat* Wednesday – Morning Meal: Skinless chicken quarter | Evening Meal: Fish Thursday – Morning Meal: Frozen Cornish hen | Evening Meal: Frozen Cornish hen Friday – Morning Meal: Chicken back and ribs (mostly bone some meat attached) | Evening Meal: Turkey Wings Saturday– Morning Meal: Livers mixed with ¼ chicken breast** | Evening Meal: Weekly Meat They get a weekly snack of about a table spoon of pumpkin mixed with a little olive oil (trying to find fish) and an egg, including the ground up shell.
We’ve started buying whole turkeys, because the price is comparable with chicken and it is way cheaper than buying turkey parts, and they love turkey. With the wings there is never any left and very little left of the legs. Weekly meat has been rib tips lately as those have been on sale, they eat all the bone in that.

Okay so here is the feedback I got
First off, is the a reason all the chicken is skinless? Ferrets need a LOT of fat in their diet and stripping the meat of the skin makes this menu very lean. The switch from chicken to turkey is okay, but turkey is more lean than chicken. I think every meal of turkey or chicken should have skin on it to add that extra fat.
Is there any red meat in their diet? Most of your meats are all whiter meats (fowl, fish, etc.) Adding some red meat like beef would be add variety in your protein options. What about dark cuts of pork? Maybe you can add some extra heart to some of the liver meals or on the weekly meal days.

All the chicken isn't skinless, only the quarters. They wont eat through the skin, I think because of how thick it it. And that's only when we buy the bulk bags of quarters when they are on sale. The rest of the time we buy whole fryer chickens and cut those up skin on. Skin even gets blended up with the heart mush. Same for the turkey.
They get beef about as often as they get pork. Last shopping trip there was a huge rack of beef ribs on sale, this week pork chops were the good deal. We just got a venison liver from my father in law (he didn't bag a deer but his friend did) if he can get a deer we'll have some venison for them. We can try subbing ground beef for the chicken in the blend but I'm not sure they'll eat it. They are doing fine on poultry organs, they'll eat them unblended, but still don't seem to like beef organs much.
My other thought is to do a mix of heart and liver and do that 4-5 times a week. But then I'd have to drop a bone meal.
We go shopping every two weeks so lately meaning the most recent trip. I just realized that lately could mean pretty much anything.
Unfortunately beef is the most expensive and prices are going up. We can't afford it for ourselves more then once a week.

Congratulations. you've graduated and you're ready to walk this path alone, now. You have the foundation to help you feed your fuzzes in a more natural and healthy manner. Please remember that your learning never stops, and dietary needs change from ferret to ferret and throughout each their lives. I would also like you to be aware that though you now have the capability and the knowledge to create your little ones diets you are never alone and that your mentor (you need only pm) is always available to you. The list is also a very good resource and you should always be aware that it's available to answer any questions you may have either about diet or care. Good luck, in a few days either Sherry or I will lock down this thread but be aware that you can always look through it as a reference tool but you just will not be able to post to it. Your mentor will be in to congratulate you shortly . ciao
