Hey everyone! I'm new to this site! My name is Penelope. You can call me Pen or P. I'm a friend of vpk23. I'm trying to convince hubby to let my get a ferret...or 2. LoL. ANY advice you have is welcome. I'm here to learn as much as I can before we embark on this journey.  |

Welcome to the board! Good luck with getting one or two.. let me tell you how ferret math attacked my house lol We got Kahlua first, My fiancee had agreed to one soo the next day I adopted her. He showed up and boom there she was, lol. He definately wasn't expecting it to happen that fast. Then we ended up getting Mojito as her cagemate, I kinda just did it w/o telling him... lol, I ended up telling him that Mojito was free (not true) and that I got him not only for Kahlua but for my fiancee cuz he had wanted a boy in the first place, lol. Both Kahlua and Mojito were adopted I got him about 6 months after her but he is much older than her and not in the best of health. She is terribly attached to him, though, (edit: forgot this important bit, since they were so attached we were worried what would happen to her eventually down the line when he was gone) so my fiancee took the three of us to "look" at petstore kits.. We ended up getting SoCo that same day because they both loved him.. unfortunately that didn't work out (she ended up deciding she didn't like him) buut I was too attached to let him go. My fiancee never agreed to Morgan, but the situation arose that he needed a home.... so I jumped the opportunity (seeing as he was my moms and then my friends and Kahlua had known him since I first got her and I knew she loved him) so now everyone is happy... except my fiancee who only ever TRUELY agreed to one lmao  |

Ha ha why is 6 the number lately.......note pip is not on my sig yet. Supposed to be adopting her out but HUBBY is getting attached - he cannot leave her alone for some reason!

Sherry, you are crazier than me! I have a hard time some times with 6 and you with 9! Yeah you's is CRAZY. And especially with how picky with play mates your brats are!  And Pen, they don't know Cafe mom lingo. ;D Sadly us Cafe mom people have to spell it out! HAHAHAHA ;D For those who don't know DH=Dear husband. Katt should know that though since she makes fun of me over my abbreviations. |

I tried for only 3 ferrets, ( one for my toy poodle, minature poodle and my cat). Still not quite sure how I ended up with 7. Oh well, no harder to care for (just had to learn to count to 7 during free play time rather than 3  ). Can be lots of work, but MUCH MORE FUN! Hope u get one (or more). |

Hi and welcome on board....now what's wrong with ferret math I started with "just" one ;D ;D You've got to love ferret math  Please feel free to join in and just have fun, I'm sure that you can get plenty of information on how to aquire a ferret on here ;D Just read some of the threads suggesting a ferret math attack  ciao |
