Thanks ladies!  I don't want more than 2 so DH won't have to worry about that...yet. LoL. Thats exactly what I said when I got my first 2  now I have 4! Welcome to the forum! |

Thanks ladies! I don't want more than 2 so DH won't have to worry about that...yet. LoL. When I got Koda it was ONE ferret and I could not, absolutely WOULD not EVER have more than ONE. Period. End of story. Case closed. More than one was NOT an option. Nope not an option at all... Well fast forward several months and realize Koda was not a pure ferret but actually 99/100ths cracked out demon from h*** on speed with the intelligence of Einstein reincarnate, the sneakiness of a Ninja, the chewing habits of a teething infant, the energy of a 3 year old after 6 cups of coffee and a bowl of Halloween candy ...add to that the fact that despite months of research we were WAY unprepared to deal with such a hurricane of an animal... so I decided he needed a friend to keep him company and burn off his energy... JUST ONE though, and I wanted a girl. Well I saw Kenai and fell in love despite the fact that he had a "belly button" so he came home with us. NO more than 2.... ...fast forward a few more months and I realize...hmmm....2 boys things are a bit unfair here...I still want that little girl....and I don't like the number 3, so of course it would have to be 4....   It won't take you long to become familiar with the term "kit fever." The unfortunate (or fortunate take your pick lol) thing is I can't afford any more ferrets right now.  But I would LOVE to get 1-2 more. Their names will be StellaLuna and Sitka.  A little DEW girl and a black nosed dark sable (boy or girl). |

Welcome to the forum! Until recently I use to have only one ferret (Max) for about 8 months but my friends old roommate was going to get rid of her ferret (that she didn't take care of) so I took him in. It was a great idea, Max loves the company.  |
