1. Where did you first learn about natural diets for ferrets?
My vet mentioned raw diets, so I decided to research it. I found THIS site on yahoo answers.
2. Please describe the type of diet you would like assistance in switching your ferret(s) to.
I would love to feed Pooka a raw diet. I'm not sure if partial or fully would be better for us.
3. Why are you interested in switching your ferrets to a natural diet?
Natural is always better.
I want him to live his life to the fullest, I want him to feel the best he can.
4. Do you understand that switching your ferret to a natural diet can be a lengthy, arduous process?
I understand, when aren't ferrets time consuming? To be a ferret owner is to be owned by a ferret. I would do anything for my little monkey.
5. How many ferrets do you currently have? What are their names? Ages? Genders? Do they have any health problems? Are they overweight? Underweight?
I have one, his name is Pooka, he is 2, and a boyyyy, he doesn't have any health problems (other than the earmites he had when I got him, and a hairball he passed with no problems) Annnnd he is a big boy but I don't think he is overweight.
6. What diet do you currently feed your ferrets?
He eats Evo ferret kibble, and 3 times a week he gets a bit of pumpkin for shedding season. He also gets a bit of turkey baby food every now and then as a treat.
7. Have you ever tried to switch your ferrets to a natural diet in the past? If yes, what happened?
I haven't tried yet. I'm very excited to try though
8. What additional information about yourself or your ferrets would you like to share?
That Pooka is my first fuzz-butt and I have learned so much with him, but I am always looking forward to learning more.
9. How often during the week do you have access to a computer?
I have the net on my phone so, 24/7.
10. Please post a picture of each of your ferrets (if possible).
This is what Pook look's like when I wake him up from a good nap.
He turns into a pretty big diva when I wake him up and usually will give me the cold shoulder for about 5 minutes after.
(Until something shiny catches his attention)
