Haha, well that was an adventure Clyde DID think I was trying to poison him. Gagging and scratching and biting. Little stinker. Pooka licked it a few times then turned his nose up at it. We will try again today

Just keep doing that over and over again while they are out playing. Keep some to hand, grab the ferret, give them a few dabs, and let them go. You can make extra and freeze it in ice cube trays. Just defrost one at a time for now.

Found heart, liver, everything possible! Rabbit, lamb, beef, whatever. I bought hearts and liver, and a whole chicken for when that time comes haha. I have made my soupie. Waiting for the boys to catch interest.right now they afre busy playing in the blender box (which, by the way, I got at walmart for seven dollars. Its original price was almost 40)

That's FANTASTIC!!! Give them as much as they want right now Let them have this for 2-3 days, then either start adding a bit of liver and heart VERY SLOWLY, or start slipping in slivers of chicken meat, whichever you prefer. Mine didn't start with liver/heart til they'd been on raw chunks for a bit, but others prefer to get them started right away. Your choice

No- that's great, actually ;D I had a few problems when I started adding later on, since it changed the flavour of it for them! If they are already taking it with the heart/organ, not a problem- it just means you are one step ahead

Yay! Hooray for pooka-choo for not being picky ever I'm happy haha Oh. I have a few questions.. What do I do about the kibble? Do I take it out during the day? And put it back at night? Or just wait to do anything with it? And how long can i leave the soupie out?

Why not start by leaving the kibble in overnight, and just give them the raw during the daytime? The soup can sit out for about 6 hours, and if it's bad, they won't eat it anyway. You'll have to give them a second serving later on. Just make sure to take the kibble out when you get up, and give them the raw about a couple hours afterwards. Or if it's more convenient, you can leave the kibble out overnight, feed them their soups when you get up, let them play for a while, and when they go back in the cage, give kibble back again for the daytime. Just remember to take it out a couple hours before offering the raw again. And they can have some soupies in overnight after that.

K just letting I know, I am leaving tomorrow to go to moab with my family. I'm leaving my boys with my boyfriend, he has instructions for feeding them. Saturday he is to put new soupie in for over night. Rather than switch back to kibble.
