Could something have been on the lino before she peed there?

no I don't think so, I wondered that too :\ It was really weird though, the little drip of red was off to the side- not in the middle or mixed....

Maybe someone hauled some stash around? I've almost freaked over seeing a spot of blood on the floor only to realize someone took some freshly chewed meat around.

I'm so happy for this chart you have no idea! Gwin's been switching over for a few days and his poopies got smaller and darker and wimpier but that's good because he's got exactly the poop for raw meat and I am so relieved. Never thought I'd be so happy to look at poop!
I'm pretty proud of my little guy today. As I type this he's chowing down on his first bone (chicken wing). He loves it. Tomorrow... his first heart!

They got into some whiskas food when we were visiting my moms so Im assuming that is what changed the poop colour and consistency... They seem to be having semi normal poops again thanks to some trusty pumpkin. As for the mysterious pee, there was a drop of diluted red fluid in her little pee puddle on the lino once out of the 10 or so times peeing there. Is this something I should rush to the vet for or just keep an eye on her? .gif[/IMG]
I believe wiskas uses a lot of dyes in their food ( it's been a long long long time since I had a cat that ate that) but if they still use a lot of dyes it couldeffectthe coloring with such a short digestive track Edit: Ugh, ignore what I wrote, just realized it was from January

Hey guys, sorry for the double post. I came back here because the last two movements he's had today have been seedy on the chart and I worry. He's not eating any different and he's playing the same as always so I'm not sure. He's on the raw balanced diet of steak, chicken, and lamb this week and he's already had liver and heart on Sunday so I'm not sure what's going on.
The whole prey I ordered is supposed to come in on Thursday, at least, so maybe changing the food up to whole prey will help?

Weird stools happen sometimes even seedy ones. Any stress, even good stress, can result in funky poops. In a raw fed ferret it show up more since there is little to no bulk to disguise it.

This chart is very helpful, thank you. How do I deal with a stresses ferret? I'm going to give him pumpkin soon with a bit of evo. I just got him Monday, and his poop as been very clear and liquid-y.

When you first get a ferret in, best to have them vetted. Clear mucous poops, especially in a kibble fed ferret, are not a good thing. For stress, Bach's rescue remedy really helps. 4-5 drops in the water bowl every time it's changed, and a drop on the nose/paw pad/ear flap for acute stress. Otherwise just letting him be and have some time to relax.

It might be worth a try. No more than a tsp though...anything more and it will be to loosen up stools and you don't want that ciao
