I read about your loss on fb. I am so sorry. For soup, I'd say maximum 6 months. Do you have ethnic and/or farmer's markets near you, or in a nearby town/city? Those can be your cheapest sources for meat. Thank you😞 For now I will rotate chicken/turkey/quail/Cornish hen(I know it’s same as regular chicken- just think it’s easier to start them on smaller bones🤔) plus chicken hearts and beef liver. Also I got them a bag of fdr duck duck goose. The issue with poop kind of disappeared after I got fortiflora Now one more question- if I get them to eat chunks (only Pelmenello eats them so far but no bones yet) - how much should they eat per meal( for example one chicken wing each or more than that?) Also as for quail and Cornish hen- Can I smash bones with hammer or they will choke on it?

The amount will vary from ferret to ferret. And for the weight bearing bones, I would definitely smash them inside the meat.
