The grind menu only has one because the grinds are alternative meals. The chunk menu has 2 meals of heart and 1 less bone in since I was close to too much. I'll switch around meals tomorrow morning. Sorry - the grind menu needs the change of making 1/2 to one full bone meal into heart.

Quick questions; how much meat are on the duck necks? Do you know? Also, how are their poops looking?

It's about 1/2 and 1/2 with the duck necks, maybe 1/3 meat to 2/3 bone. Poops are looking firm but not hard.

I also re-fixed their regular menu so it's back to 1.5 meals of heart. Can you please post that menu also? And is the "regular" menu what you are currently feeding? Or are you using the grinds or both menus?

The almighty Heather has spoken! She's a bit concerned with how high the bone content of the grinds plus the high bone content of the duck necks. Her suggestion was to add a muscle meat like beef or pork to the duck neck nights. ๐

Congratulations :goodjob: You've graduated and you're ready to walk this path alone. You have the foundation to help you feed your fuzzes in a more natural and healthy manner. Please remember that your learning never stops, and dietary needs change from ferret to ferret and throughout each their lives. I would like you to be aware that though you now have the capability and the knowledge to create your little ones diets you are never alone and that your mentor (you need only pm) is always available to you. The list is also a very good resource and you should always be aware that it's available to answer any questions you may have either about diet or care. Watch your bone content carefully. As your little one enjoys the bones that's great but always make sure there is a reasonable amount of meat surrounding that bone. Good luck, in a few days someone will lock down this thread and place it in the archives but be aware that you can always look through it as a reference tool but you just will not be able to post to it. Your mentor will be in to congratulate you shortly ciao

Congrats to you both! (dance) You did an awesome job with your fuzzards. If our ever have questions Kelsey and I are both available via PM, or you can always post on the public boards so others can read along and learn also. Your babies will thank you for alll the hard work with much healthier, happier lives.
