When he's fully weaned, about 4-5 weeks. It kind of depends on when he starts showing less interest in milk and more interest in the mixed diet, learns to hunt crickets... ;D
Taylar has done an incredible job. She needs a special trophy - it's just as exhausting, if not more so - than having a newborn baby because when they are very small they eat even more frequently, need to be stimulated to go to the bathroom both ways, need to be cleaned frequently.
Aww he is so cute! :-*I am so proud of you most people would have left him to die or just killed him them self. He looks like a strong happy guy. I hope with all my heart he makes it in the wild. Good Luck and Great Job Hun!
But he's also wild, and he's showing signs of it--he really wants NOTHING to do with my anymore, unless it's time for milk. Honestly, he'll be happier when he gets released, than he would being caged up :/
Unlike captive bred mice, he's got those instincts. He WAS born in to the wild.
As much as I love the little guy, I know releasing him is the right thing to do
