Yep, we thought it was the turkey too....seems ok with it. I did CGH last night with Gomez and had a small breast bone, he ate 3/4 of it and then was squirming bad so usually this means I gotta poop mom, put him in and he promptly threw up foam and bits of beef heart I had mixed in, then was ok. This morning we did long strips of last of this turkey and it took an hour to feed him, would not eat it, gnawed on it, played with it....gave Jani a fit. Finally after an hour I cut it up some and he gave in. Since going to 1 oz each meal of soupie and mixing in an ounce of other Gomez has lost weight like 20 grams.....are we ok? Jax wakes up starving and ready to go, eats eats eats lol.....are out half way thru you have to prompt Jim then starts back up. We are leaving food and it is gone again, I am sure it is Jax. Their coats are awesome

Gomez's throwing up bothers me. I don't find any pattern for it. Has he had beef heart before?
What does Gomez weigh? A little loss when transitioning from soup to whole meats is nothing to worry about. They tend to eat more when they're eating soup because it's easy. Most ferrets are pretty lazy critters when it comes to having to actually chew their food, lol.
Is Jax putting on weight? Recent pictures?

Us too about the throwing up. He has only thrown up 2 times since Sept 26 when we picked him up. The other night was after eating the breast bone on a CGH, the bone he ate it was foam that came up. He eats beef all the time as he loves it. We tried veal kidney this week and he likes that too. Sorry we have been swamped and with my ear healing have not had a moment to post new hanging picks or menu....we have it. I think he is lazy lol.....he will be the hard one to break away. I started putting Jax every other day in his condo to feed but still touching him. He is getting more chunks, short strips than soupie, gonna try even less soupie next week.....wish us luck, he has not liked that. Gomez's poop is well formed and looks good Jax is gaining weight.....good Jax poop is dark as he is on beef soupie and added some bone meal extra, but his poop is still having some raw pieces of food. He comes over and stands up while we are preparing their pkates, will climb on the chair and up to the table and start eating if we're not careful, see the pics. Poop is not watery like it was.

They look good! Their weights are fine, even with Gomez losing some ounces. His tummy looks a better size and I'm glad to see some hair regrowth on his pudgy spots. Jax's poop looks MUCH better, still a little off and still a funny color but so much better! Is the smell getting better yet?
