I got an appointment for 3 pm today. Now I have to hope my friend doesn't oversleep.

Good luck at the vets. I hope you have managed to calm down and that this is nothing too serious. Korra had a mast cell tumor near her anus, she kept scooting along the floor like a dog and causing it to bleed and scab over, we tried creams and they would heal it up then she would open it again. Rather than risk infection we opted for surgery and other than still having a bald bottom you would never know she had a tumor. As with most of these, it was sent of and came back benign. We were warned they can keep popping up, and sometimes in the same place, sometimes in other places and just to keep an eye out for them, so it's possible that his other itchy bit is the same thing, but that doesn't mean it is anything sinister.
If they are both mast cell tumors they should be able to remove them in one surgery and ferrets heal bloody quickly.
I know it's harder said than done, but try not to panic. Have you got something to help with anxiety, but still lets you think straight? At times like this I have a share of the ferrets bach's rescue remedy...

Last night my grandpa and mom talked me down, and right now Miracle is being really cuddly. I still feel sick and guilty, but I'm not nearly as bad as last night. I was at risk of an asthma attack when I was at my worst.

I'm glad you have your grandparents to help you cope, it probably doesn't help much but you are doing your very best for your ferrets and you are an excellent caregiver for them. We all have those aw crap! moments where something we thought was nothing now seems serious, and while this looks quite horrific you have said yourself he doesn't seem to be having any pain with it, you are keeping it clean and bandaged up and he's going to the vets as soon as you could get him in. No one could have done any more.
Miracle sounds like a wonderful cat! Glad you have someone to give you a hug, you sound like you need one. There's no hugging emoticons so have a dancing banana

I'm lucky. They don't understand how attached I am to my ferrets, but they say they'll help if it doesn't cost too much. Miracle's a very protective kitty, and a real lovey one too, but right before she got all cuddly she got in trouble for hissing at me for no reason, she's just trying to butter me up for the most part lol...

I would say it look similar to Thor's MCT. I had them remove it. It wouldn't heal and remained moist and ugly. Most MCT's erupt, dry and disappear and erupt again. Thor's just seemed to ooze and weep. It looked similar to this. The surgeon removed it. It came away clean and he never had to worry about it again. I would say that this one if at all possible should probably be removed. I would get him to a vet as soon as an appointment can be arranged (don't let them put you off for a couple of weeks), you don't want this to become infected ciao

Heather I already have an appointment scheduled for today, but I don't know if they'll do anything immediately, the lady that answered the phone sounded stressed and rushed, so I couldn't ask any questions.

What should I do about their food? Should I bring their food with me or should I just wait to feed them when I get back? If I don't get an answer soon I guess I'll just put some in a tupperware bowl and put it in a cold lunchbox with ice packs

I would bring food with you. Chances are all they're going to do is an exam and then you will be scheduled in the next few days for surgery if that becomes an option ciao

Marty's going to have surgery to remove the tumors tomorrow at noon. The vet said he can do 250 including the anesthesia, and my grandparents said they could cover it. Huge relief.
He said that what I did for bandaging it was well done, but not to use Polysporin. He said to only feed Marty a third of his 8 am meal.

What a relief to know that he'll be taken care of. And a huge thank you to your grandparents. I know Marty will feel better to have those things off.

I agree. It still hasn't sunk in yet, and I'm terrified of Marty going under anesthesia tomorrow, he's old and the risk is scary.

Wonderful grandparents!
Try not to borrow troubles you don't have yet.
I know easier said than done---
