That'll work. Turkey would just be muscle meat. Quail we could see if he wanted bone if he took to it well.

Quail might be the best option in that case. I'll see if I can get my hands on some xx

Hmm, bone in, probably not. Pheasant, pigeon or partridge would be other good options but they are harder to find. Duck might be good but it's a harder bone option. If we move onto to another protein that isn't bone in, I want to start supplementing bone meal powder or egg shell.

Ok. That's no problem got loads of eggshell powder. I get paid tomorrow so will be going a bit father out to find a suitable protein source. I have loads of butchers who have a variety of meats so this really shouldn't be an issue but I've had some problems communicating what I need as some of them only speak very basic English and I don't speak any other language either. Xx

Communication tends to be hard here too. We have a big hispanic population and I know very very little.

Its okay. Have you decided on another meat for Leo? I really want to get him going so we can figure which proteins he can and cannot have. Have you just been feeding soupie or have you been trying slivers?

Ferret's name: Leo Ferret's weight: 1245g (lw: 1235g) Ferret has eaten 2oz lamb soupie at every meal. Haven't been able to get him to touch slivers. Stools on various proteins: normal but the last two days they've been Green. I think he has flu. Activity level: normal-sleepy Weekly menu: Every day has been the same: 2 oz lamb soupie. He only once ate more than that and ate 2.5oz lamb soupie on I think Thursday. The other days have been consistent with the last two days his eating dropping to 1.5oz soupie.

Hey. He's getting better from flu Thanks. Still on soupie. I need to get him eating slivers but he straight up refuses to eat even the tiniest bits of lamb that aren't soupie consistency. I haven't yet tried him with another protein because I've been so ill I haven't been able to get out and get any... At the moment with him being ill though I'm just trying (with family help) to keep an eye on his fluid and food intake. Xx
