Okay, weight loss is still okay. He's barely lost an ounce so that is good. 4 ozs a day is good too! Yay for more brown poos! That's really good. It means his system is returning to normal.

It looks good... I'm not too worried about the weight loss. As you said it's not too much. It's also hotter here compared to a week or two ago. Starting to add slivers now. I've never been so excited about poop before lol xx

Hehehe, you should see me on whole prey days, my favorite poos ever. They are pretty neat and packaged and dry out very well.

He's not talking the slivers as I'd like to see yet but we're getting there. He's still getting used to the taste of lamb I think. Also his poo really is improving so I'm glad to see he's probably starting to feel better gradually now xx

Because there are a lot of changes going on, it's okay if it takes him a while to get back onto slivers. I want him healthy first and then we can go from there.

Yeah definitely. We'll see how he does but I'm not going to push him too hard. He's doing well though in himself aside from that xx

Feeling a bit like I'm dropping the ball. We've gone back to soupies because Leo still isn't happy about the lamb. On the positive end of things his poop is pretty normal now. No longer Green, just Brown, normal formed poop xx

Hahaha, it's okay. We had a bump in the road, we will get back on track soon. He isn't a fan on the lamb slivers when we move on to the next protein we can just add the slivers to the now lamb soupie. He may even take to them quicker since he isn't a huge fan.
AND YAY!! Normal poos finally. :boing:

I'm very excited that his poops are normal. And yeah good idea! I'll keep him on the lamb soupie for at least another week to give his digestive tract time to rest and then I'll try adding slivers of a different protein... Hopefully he'll like them more! xx

1. Ferret's name: Leo 2. Ferret's weight: 1235g (lw: 1217g) 3. Ferret has eaten 2 oz lamb soupie at every meal. 4. Stools on various proteins: green at beginning of week. Normal for the last few days! 5. Activity levels: very playful, active and affectionate 6. Weekly menu: (Basically he's consistently eaten 2 oz of lamb soupie at every meal except Tuesday evening when he ate half an ounce, and Wednesday morning when he ate 1.5 oz. Before then, I was adding slivers in but he wasn't eating them and was pretty grumpy about it so I stopped) Here's some pictures:

Awesome. Nice to see everything looking better! What is the next protein we want to try? As we move proteins I want to be able to move him up back onto slivers as well.

I'm giving it a bit of thought... I think a bird like Turkey or quail might work. He liked chicken slivers so I'm trying to think of something similar to that for him xx
