Not yet. I'd hate to order the necks again online for just necks , but looks like it may go that way. Going to check another place tomorrow and hope they have them.
Do you have your businesses meal plan written down? I forget what all you feed.

Do you have a set weekly menu like morning = x etc?
Couldn't find any necks at the stores again. May have an idea for one more place lol.
They went to the vet last night and got a check up, blood glucose, and small blood panel to get a baseline. They did not eat in 3.5 hours when the tests were taken.
2.25 lbs harry Blood glucose: 132
2.23 lbs Brooklyn Blood glucose: 105
They had slight anesthesia did to squirming around so much and had to get a small shaved spot under their neck area to draw the blood from.
The blood test results should be ready monday or Tuesday

their G-Levels are great! and bold spots will be hairy soon i don't have written weekly menu anymore. i usually give them on monday am, wednesday am and friday am 1/2 heart, 1/4 liver and 1/4 organs, it's easier for them to eat that way, only then they eat everything (since they are not into organs wery much). but it all depends if they are getting whole prey meals that week. they got 9 BIM meals and 2 muscle meat. if they are getting whole prey during the week, there is a sheme i'm following.

The blood test results should be ready monday or Tuesday any news about that? The parcel arrived! 40 mices and 15 few days old chicks! can't wait to thaw some of those to give them for dinner did you find something with bones for them? i know that you said you'd like to give them whole prey with commercial grinds (and not frankenprey), but there are few steps before whole prey and that is chewing bigger pieces of meat and bone in meat, which is actually a part of a frankenprey diet. be patient just a little bit and try to find necks, gizzards or chicken wings so they can learn to eat that, since they still haven't accepted mices and rats. maybe you can find young chicks to offer them? who knows, perhaps they would accept that

Awesome. I didn't think of chicks, wouldn't they be too large and you would have to cut those into like 4 pieces?
I received their bloodwork. Let me try to attack them. Looks like the actual blood glucose reading from ther blood test was slightly lower than the blood glucose test itself.
Isn't Sherry really good at reading blood tests?
they seem to have a on again off again relationship with chicken wings . They have been eating quail bones again which is good, though I cannot give them too large of a piece such as a whole leg now or else they take it off and forget about it.
I need to take some pics of their shaved necks too lol.

No luck finding chicken necks yet besides online. I will probably end up ordering some more if I can't find them still this weekend.
Harry briefly got a pork bone bit stuck on a tooth and was playing with it for a few minutes until we scruffed him and got it un hooked. Then of coarse he backed away from the food plate shocked at the ordeal and then at least resumed eating.

Then of coarse he backed away from the food plate shocked at the ordeal and then at least resumed eating. it is possible that it was painfull for him. don't worry, that kind of things happen sometimes. he'll forget it soon miamiferret.org/physiology.htmi always look at this site with values for ferrets. it seems that only Harry's alk. phospathase is a bit lower. i think that has something to do with calcium and phosphorus. you should check with your vet, since Ca and P are in normal values. :/ IDK... good luck with the wings!

Very confusing stuff Harry decided that he does not like the new corn based clumping litter we decided to try out. ( worlds best brand) He must have drug over the remaining littler from his box and moved it under our clothes drawer, and then use that area instead. We sprayed it and cleaned it pretty well, but it looks like he still uses that area about half the time, even though the box is about 6 inches away. Have you ever had that issue? What do you do to get rid of their old potty scents so they hopefully won't assiciate that area with going potty?

Harry must be angry at you! there are few spots in the house my crew likes to poop on. luckily, ceramic tiles are all over the hall and it's easy to clean. i am using disinfectant that is used in hospitals for washing the floors, but one spot in front of the entrance door is their favourite place and i couldn't do anything to stop them to poop there. any luck with chicken necks or wings?
