I will call around and see if I can do the shipping thing. It's just that we don't know how far along his tumors have advanced. he seems uncomfortable and confused most of the time now. I realize that's a part of adrenal. Thank you for the suggestion I will see what all i can do. sometimes i don't think so straight because of the stress. Thanks julesalot and unclejoe. <3 as far as care credit goes, I think I could qualify but we don't know how much time he has left. Not sure if the lupron would only sustain him in this suffering state. ;_; he has only been eating off my fingers and spoons and does not drink hardly anything. upset.

Update: he is not as energetic as we would like, got a vet appointment for monday, hopefully a second opinion will shed some light on his upset stomach and hopefully we can give him something to help settle it. the lupron is much much more than we can afford, unfortunately. IN OTHER NEWS: he now wags his tail. one in a million, this one. enjoying him while he's here. he is struggling, and it is hard, but we are doing everything we can afford to make these moments count together. will update on monday. <3 thanks for the support everyone. much love from gidge and I. Aww...your little guy is a tail wagger. I love a tail wagger, they're full of personality. I know how hard this is for you. You're handling this well and I'm sure Gidget knows how much you love him.

I meant to tell you, if you want a quicker response from a member, you can tag them. Hover your cursor over their username and see how it's spelled. Then put the @ sign in front of their name. If you did it correctly, when you post, then their name will show up in bold.
My husband and I were stationed at Little Rock AFB, a long time ago. I loved Arkansas. It's a beautiful state and was one of my favorite assignments.

Being disoriented and weak usually is the Insulinoma, it progresses quickly and it is terrible, that is without treatment. With treatment they can live up to 3+ years with it. Have you gotten him on Pred yet? I cannot fathom how vitally important it is to treat his Insulinoma, Pred is dirt cheap ($30 lasts me 2 mo) and it works well. Just call your Vet and have them write a prescription for Prednisolone or Pediapred and give you a dose. You give it twice daily about 30-45 min after feeding. Increasing dose as needed.
You could call today and have it filled, every place has it. Don't get the tablets, get the liquid, it's easier dispensed and measured. You wouldn't believe how much they can change being on Pred and Lupron, they can do a 180 turn around in weeks.

Hey everyone. I'm sorry I haven't been on. I wanted to let you all know that little Gidget is no longer with us. The secondary vet visit showed just how advanced his illnesses had become and we felt it was best for him to help him over the rainbow bridge. It was the hardest thing I have ever done. I want to extend my gratitude to everyone interested in this thread, and to let you know how much it meant to have a support group through all of this. If we had caught his illness sooner, he may have still been with us today. But just to let everyone know thanks, and keep up the good work. we learned a lot through everything. God bless.
