Is this a reputable company to order from? Their prices seem reasonable I was thinking of incorporating some whole prey with my frakenprey menu.

A couple years ago they had an outbreak of zoonotic disease and didn't notify their customers. No one knew until CDC agents started calling them. I'm sure it's cleared up by now but a company that would do that really rubs me the wrong way. I plan on ordering from micedirect when I order whole prey rats.

Yes they did notify their customers racheld as I was a customer then and still do use them (until very, very recently...still have some of their product in the freezer). It was a little late but they did notify their customers. The thing is, I believe rodentpro is so large that they are a re-seller. What I mean is that I believe they have several breeders scattered across the country and then rodentpro just does the business end of things. I could be mistaken but I believe that is how they work. Only one of their facilities was affected as far as I know / remember. I've had pretty good quality with them. One of my orders I wasn't happy with and they refunded me some of the cost. I am raising my own now solely because the Canadian dollar sucks at the moment and it has gotten to expensive to order from the U.S. Otherwise, I'd still be using them.

I have been using RodentPro, along with a few other companies, for a while now to provide feeder mice and rats for my snakes. I've always received my shipments on time, in good shape, and good quality. There has been no evidence of mites or bugs on the mice or rats (yes, that does happen with some companies and it's GROSS). They come in clean and not broken (Artic Mice is well known for having broken mice or rats - tails or legs just snapped off). Everything is neatly packaged, easy to put away and store in the freezer, and the prices aren't terrible. Once I bring my new fuzzy home, I will be feeding him Whole Prey from RodentPro or AmericanRodent (once I get him to make the switch from kibble to whole prey of course).
Some of the other companies I use/have used are BigCheeseRodents (great quality), AmericanRodent (great quality), and Arctic Mice (DO NOT RECOMMEND EVER).

holisticferret60.proboards.com/thread/8377/rodent-pro-reported-zoonotic-diseaseThey didn't contact ALL their customers because there wasn't a need. They knew exactly who was affected and contacted THOSE customers. Do I think they should have contacted everyone? Maybe? I'm kind of torn on this. On one hand I can see that it could be good customer relations, on the other I can see it as a risk to their business when they knew exactly who was affected. The low numbers of customers affected to me points to a new supplier being used by them at the time. Anyhow, the only time I had a complaint about rodentpro product (the mice were covered in urine), they refunded me some of the cost of the shipment.

I have had no issues with rodentpro.
Customer service is top notch. If there is a problem thy will make it right.
I have not heard of any recent major issues with them from anybody, I am sure they are more careful of the suppliers they are using now.

I haven't had any issues with rodentpro either. Everything I get had been very clean thus far.

I've had snakes for years too, and made a lot of orders from RodentPro. I would still be, but AmericanRodent.com has been cheaper lately, and closer to my state. I'd order again from RodentPro if AmericanRodent didn't have what I needed, and yeah, I was following along during the outbreak. There are definitely risks with every food source.
